I am a 25 year old, currently working as an engineer out in Western Michigan. I have always been a huge fan of Buffalo sports and culture, and I would love to see this area complete a sport and economic turnaround within my lifetime. While it has been recent, I have become a NHL advanced statistics junkie; and for those who want it, I am more than willing to share my habit.

Turnbull Recalled From Amerks

Travis Turnbull will receive his first emergency call up from Rochester. In 53 games this year, Turnbull has 12 goals, 15 assists and 94 PIM. The PIMs place him second on the team behind Joe Finley. Not sure why this was done; someone could possible be ill, which would leave Turnbull a game time decision as to whether he plays or not. If he does play today, it will be his first NHL game.
