As an Alabama fan, I (along with several friends) am looking to come the the game on October 13th this year....Does anyone have any guidance as to a possible place to stay for the weekend? We are very open to renting a house for the weekend if we can find something that is available(most of the hotels are booked solid) Does anyone know of any houses to rent that are near campus / the stadium? I have rented a house in Oxford, MS in the past, and a lot of SEC schools are well known for having places available in this type of format......Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Now that we have the '09 class on the books, which freshmen do we think will make an impact in the '09 season? Also, if you want to throw in some projected lineups, I'd be interested in seeing what others thought....

To the first part: Obviously I think Trent can seriously contribute....DJ holds his spot for 3 straight years before the NFL....And I like KK's chances of getting some serious game-time in an effort to displace pressure off of Julio....I'm not so sure if I think Dre can see much time next year (and speaking as a long-time athlete who has dealt with surgeries to correct problems, NO ONE can tell me that he will be 100% after his recent shoulder surgery...much less 100% by the VT game...but that's just me)....I think Nico can see a little time...maaaybe....I actually like Kerry Murphy's determination, and as a bham guy, I enjoyed watching him play in high school....I think he can contribute in garbage time this year and do some real damage in the years to come after Cody's departure (he can split time with ex-teammate, Chapman)....My dark horse contributor is Carpenter, as I like an older player who has gotten some playing experience at a level beyond HS, and he is obviously committed to making a difference at UofA this year....God knows there is an opportunity for one of the OL guys to shine.....

To the last part: I'll just throw out some ideas.....Offense first:

OL: Fluker, Johnson, Davis, Ross?, Boswell

TE: Smelley #1, Underwood #2

QB: McElroy, then Star for a changeup

RB: TRENT and MARK (this makes me so giddy I can't stand it) and let's not forget Upchurch

WR: #1 Julio, #2  McCoy (he was disappointed with his production this year and has made a pledge to work his ass off until next year, and I for one, believe him) #3KK #4 Maze/Alexander #5 Scott

Defense:

DL: Cody, Washington, Davis, Deaderick, The Hoover boys see significant time (Murphy and Chapman) Maybe Bonds or Sentimore see some time although I hope at least one redshirt's...

LB: Ro, Hightower, Prince, Reamer, Upshaw, Anders

CB: Javy, Barron, Marquis Johnson, Sharrief, C Rogers, Woodall to S? (I think Kareem sits this one out) Maybe I'm wrong about Dre and he starts from Day 1, but I don't think I will be
