Kroenke bids to buy rest of Rams

We have enjoyed our involvement in the National Football League since our original expansion efforts beginning in 1993 and our subsequent 15-year partnership with the Rams. We look forward to working with the Rosenbloom family and the NFL. We will respect the league and its processes in our efforts to complete this transaction." How does this affect the 49ers? Well, it's send the Rams back into a state of ownership flux. Kroenke has the right to refuse Khan's bid to purchase the majority share of the Rams but you'd think this was something that would have been sorted out months ago. Kroenke has his own issues becoming majority owner. This mess could leave the Rams in limbo for awhile.

It sounds like a running joke, considering Davis hasn’t come close to establishing himself as one of the top 10 tight ends in the league. His scant 1,132 receiving yards in three seasons, combined with the fact that he is a mediocre blocker, make him one of the most overpaid players in the NFL. He’s on the books for $8 million in cap space over the next two seasons, and he’d likely need to double last year’s numbers (358 receiving yards and two touchdowns) to come close to justifying it. And, no, coach Mike Singletary still isn’t a big fan.
