Golden State Of Mind What do you think will happen to Stephen Jackson next year?

I'm just curious to see what everyone else thinks is going to happen...

I hope he gets traded, and if he stays i don't think that there are going to be enough basketballs for everyone (Ellis, AR4, Curry, AB, Maggs and Jack..). Or what role do you think he will have...6th man?

I think next year is going to be a huge year for AR4, or at least it should be, and the coaches should know that and make plans to build around him by letting go of other players at his position ie: Jackson or maggs,  and finding some cheep vets that can show him the ropes and mentor him (but they're kinda hard to find..lol).

Golden State Of Mind Is another shooter what the Warriors REALLY need?

Ok so let me get this right…If the trade with the suns doesn’t go down our hopeful starters will be 1. Curry 2. Ellis 3. Jackson 4. AR 5. Andris. That sounds right…right? To be honest if that’s how it’s going to be I’m definitely using the warriors on 2k10! But! That’s a video game and anyone can win a championship or at least make the playoffs in a video game. Now, I know that the warriors are a young team and making the playoffs may not be that realistic, but we have been young and rebuilding since…I don’t even remember. I personally am a results person, if s** t aint workin then something needs to change, and I know most of us are like that. 4 of 5 players in that projected starting lineup are shoot first players soo…how is this going to work out what makes this team any different from last year? (Besides the hopeful development of AR).

Getting Steph Curry was a great pick for the warriors we haven’t been able to get attention like this on a draft pick like this in a while, so it’s good for the fans and the GSWs morale as a team. But if the warriors are trying to contend in the west is Curry that missing piece the GSW need to get that 7th or 8th spot? I’m not gunna tell yall who I would rather have had the Warriors pick because it doesn’t matter right now, what’s done is done; Steph Curry is our man and were not trading him. Fitting into the teams nucleus will not be a prob for him at all, he’s an offensive player that plays an up-tempo game with a lot of endurance, from being chased around the court a Davidson, lol. But the fact of the matter still remains he’s a scorer, yea I know we all saw Bob Knight sit in his little chair and point out to us how he’s a playmaker and how he can pass. The NBA is different; he will not be a playmaker in this league, shoot, shoot, and shoot like Boobie Gibson is all I think we will see from him for a while. I’ll admit that having a Monta and Curry tandem will and should be a “GREAT TIME OUT”, and I’m very anxious to see how the next few days turn out…

Golden State Of Mind Kelenna Azubuike most under rated GSW

If you read the headline you already know what this is about….Kelenna Azubukie! The most underrated and unappreciated player on the warriors, yes the GSW have a lot of talent on the team but I think there are certain players who are invaluable to their team, I don’t know how everyone’s feels about this but I think that KA is that man. Think about the type of player he is…obviously physically fit, excellent spot up 3pt shooter, can slash with the best, finish & defend the opposing teams best player i.e.: Kobe, LeBron, and Wade. I mean come on! Are we really willing to let a player like that go!?

Now you can call me crazy but I would let our beloved “CAPTIN JACK” go before KA anyday, you can yell, scratch, and scream at me all you want but Jackson has nothing to offer the warriors anymore he is no where near worth the money and time being invested into him. With all the new and young talent we have the only thing that Jackson can teach them is, “win a championship, then leave the team that you won it with and sign with another for less money…a lot less.” Now maybe that’s a little harsh but I think that GSW fans and only GSW fans overate him, and I’m pretty sure we can afford to lose 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists per game.  Maybe instead of getting Amare (don’t get me wrong I would love to have him) we should concentrate on getting rid of dead weight and picking up a solid pass first point guard. We have all the talent a team can have, lets start making some smart decisions and stop trying to land a SUPERSTAR!
