Avery Johnson Out As Dallas Head Coach and Durant ROY
well looks like the axe fell quickly, .wow a 73% winnng record in the regular season and 23-24 mark in the playoffs,, well I bet he will get a job quickly.
can't say I'm not happy that Dallas went down so quickly. I don't like the mavs.
and no real surprise as Durant will win Rookie of the year!

well next year it will be our turn to have another ROY, with Oden. can't wait until next year!
Championship rings
So I have a question about Champtionship rings. I was wondering if anyone knows the answer.
How many people get rings when a team wins? Do only the players that were on the active roster get rings? Do assistant coaches get a ring? Trainers? owners? Or does a team just get to order as many as they want? If they can order as many as they want then I want to start looking for a job the Blazers and then save my money in case I have to pay for the ring.
anyone seen this.
Ok I'm not sure about what I saw,has anyone else seen it? do you know what it is? On Burnside road about NE 19th or so, there is a sign that looks kind of like the Blazer emblem (or whatever we call it), but it has the word destroy through it. I'm driving by so I never get a very good look at it.
Anyone else see this?
nba 2008 all star game
the ballots are out, this year there are three Blazers on the ballot. Brandon Roy and Jarrett Jack as guards and LaMarcus Aldridge as a center. lets vote and vote and then vote again! And after that lets vote again. lets make sure that we get them to the real all-star game. yes both roy and aldridge will both be playing on the Sophomore team, of the rookies against the sophomores but let make sure they get to play in the real all-star game. voting started today. here's a link to the ballot
did you see this about albertogonazles....
Is Alberto Gonazles a Blazer fan? does anyone one know? True hoops blog had this article.
Blazers: Friends in High Places

Thought this was funny.
maybe his push will help us get the number#1 pick this summer. I mean look what else he has done.
oh and check out the Oregonian, there is an article about a lucky man named Joe, it by John Canzano.
Lone voter against Roy receives hate mail
hey all, saw this in the Oregonian today,
I hope you all were not too mean!
I think DAve must have said something about this in one of his post but just wanted to point it out with a link, after reading Dave's post I can kind of see where Chuck Swirsky had some points to back up his choice.

for the non-playoff bunch
Here are the predictions for tonight's Utah Game:
PREDICTION FORM
Final Score: Blazers Jazz
Bonus Question: Will we see MORE THAN two dunks by the Blazers, yes or no?
Statistical Predictions:
Jamaal Magloire's Points--
Brandon Roy's Free Throw Attempts--
Sergio Rodriguez' Shots MISSED--
Total Blazer Assists--
kind of late but I want to see how I fare against the bunch, I didn't cheat and look at the other post.
the also-ran, N.I.T; game 5: Blazers/Grizzlies
ok game 5! Let's see if we can beat the playoff group with our predictions!
Game 5 Prediction Form
Final Score: Blazers Grizzlies
Bonus Question: Who will be the Blazers' leading scorer?
Statistical Predictions:
Zach's Points--
Sergio's Shot Attempts--
Jarrett Jacks' Turnovers--
Blazer Field Goal Percentage (round to a whole number)--
agent zero!
Well He almost scored 50 against Seattle. he scored 46 and did make the game winning shot. he also had something to say about playing against the Blazers and not scoring 50! he had something nice to say!
ok not blazers related but....
so how how do you think Boston is now losing just to make sure they get more ping-pong balls in June. 18 stright losses in a row! how long will it go? will they win tonight? it seems it's there best chance. but do they want to win. Being a Blazers fan I would never want our team looking at a 18 game losing streak just to get more chances. and consider that the team with the worst record has won the number one draft pick for the past few years.
