Pre-season, here we come!

I can't wait for the season to come! I got some pre-season tix vs SeaChix on 8/30. Anyone else in the PNW heading up I-5, or in Seattle to check the game out? Maybe grab a micro-brew or Starbucks coffee!

Silver And Black Pride Was Al Davis the 11th player on the field?

I need some help, I ran across a post that said that the Raiders only had 10 players on the field on the last play versus the Texans.  When I go to Brian Baldingers' review of the play on nfl.com, I really only can count 10 players on our side of the ball...when I see all 11 for the Texans. Did Al Davis catch that ball as Hue had said in the interview? and place it is Huff's bread basket? Someone please check this out.....really, only 10 players ....that would be a "WOW" for sure.

Thanks,

*noontide's note

The fact that they pulled off this play with only 10 on the field is pretty damn awesome. Now never let that happen again. It is inexcusable to be that disorganized at the end of game, or any time, but especially at the end after the other team spiked the ball and huddled.

Silver And Black Pride Xbox360 cod/black ops

Greetings Raider Nation-

I started playing a bit of Xbox Call of Duty Black Ops lately and was wondering if any of the Raider Nation plays as well. It would be nice to play together and destroy all other "teams".  Anyone interested in playing? Can we post our gamer tags somewhere so we can chat about the Raiders and play?  This might help pass some time while this lockout continues :)  Just a thought....let me know.

Blazer's Edge Remember students...A is for apple...

Just how far has our team come?  Luckily, I moved up here about 5 years ago so...the Blazers decided to change their image, philosophy, just in time for me!...So I am spoiled...I met KP..before I knew exactly who he was and what he was doing..He shared with us his vision on the team, culture etc...He talked about how excited he was about the upcoming draft (B ROY..obviously)...I really didn't follow the Blazers before I moved up here.  Luckily, I didn't even know of the "JailBlazer" era..until I moved here.  When I got here..I used to get free tix at Moe's in Wilsonville..for buying a burrito!   That was a good enough reason for me to catch professional sporting event.

So, how far has our team, the Blazers come?

Yesterday, marked the start of Alphabet days at my boys school...count down from A-Z..with Z being Zip up your backpack and go home!

Yesterday was A day....Bring an Apple.

Today was B day....BLAZERS DAY!!!!!!

Last year it was ......Bubble gum day.  I imagine it has been bubble gum day for almost a decade.

So I sent my oldest son in his B Roy Gear...and my youngest son in his Oden Jersey.... We love to represent!

How far has this team come?

All I know is that since I have been here I have embraced this team..and am a FAN for Life!  And my wife is hooked as well! She can even spell Przybilla!!!

Remember class ...B is...and always will be for Blazers!!!

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by.

Blazer's Edge recent Miles "comeback" article...

More teams are taking a look at Darius.  Sounds like his body still has the hops...it starting to look like "career ending"..may have meant his career at Portland..and not elsewhere...... Evidently he wants to be on a playoff team..but who doesn't?  This is my first post and I didn't want to be wordy, but I needed 75 words.  Go Blazers! Go Blazers!
