there goes a promising summer league prospect that played for us
Bos/Sac/Cha Trade
Using the open roster spot from Lester Hudson's waiving--
Boston sends BBD and JR Giddens to Charlotte for DJ Augustin and Stephen Graham.
Boston sends Ray Allen and Tony Allen to Sacremento for Kevin Martin and Kenny Thomas (8.7 mil exp contract)
This would be a huge shakeup, but maybe a much needed one. With the Sacremento trade we get a good young scorer/shooter and the big man to replace Baby. Also in this deal is the expiring contract that Danny wanted to be included if a trade was to be iminent. We also get the MUCH needed backup pointguard. After this Tony Allen pretty much becomes nonexistant on this team, so that's why I sent him to Sacremento.
I can remember back to the beginning of the year when Sheldon actually played, and recorded some near double doubles. He plays good D and rebounds, something we could use off the bench that Baby, sorry, Eleventh Hour, doesn't provide.
Rondo/Augustin
Martin/House
Pierce/Daniels
Garnett/Williams/Thomas
Perkins/Wallace
This roster has a good balance of shooters, slashers, and defenders. The only problem with this roster is that if KG goes down, we're paper thin like last year. Seeing Scal for 20 minutes isn't always a positive thing. The only touble I see with this happening is Sac giving up Thomas, but it'd be nice to not have Nocioni's contract and he'd conflict with Daniles's minutes. Please leave comments/suggestions
Lester Hudson
Danny, Danny, Danny...
Appears Lester had another good game last night. 13 points in 12 minutes, an assist, rebound, steal, and 3-3 from the line. I know he might have just been hot and had a good game, but most of his shots he did create himself. Appears it was a little too soon to cut him short for a roster spot we haven't even used. I hope that another pg is waived that we pick up that's better than Lester and isn't 36, or it we would have completely missed out on another good player. Hmm, Joe Johnson, Chauncy Billups...

Why did we let this guy go?
Tanguay Play by Play
Did anyone notice Gary Tanquay's Play by Play commentary last night against the Los Angeles Clippers on CSNNE? Alongside HOFer Tom Heinsohn, I thought he started off a little rough and awkward but eventually settled himself into a groove as the game wore on. Although Gary isn't on Mike Gormans's level, I thought it would be interesting to see how fellow Celtic fans thought of his performance.
