The one trait of championship winners in every sport is the mental toughness that they have to will themselves to win by refusing to lose. All great players and teams have this rare type fo character which is so much more important than simply talent. The truely greats have both..ie Kobe, Michael, Bird, Magic, Russell...etc. The clippers problem is who is that anchor that will say this stops here and now. The Clips have as much talent (when they are healthy) as ANY team in the league but what player will get them to that next level of pride and toughness that has to be there to win at this level??? Do we have the chemistry to deliever that kind of desire and work ethic that it takes to play at championship levels night after night? I think not right now...we need a player that just refuses to ever quite no matter what the score or who the other player he is up against. The heart of a champion makes the other people around him champions also. I am very impressed with Zack...he is putting out the effort night after night on a team with no hope of making the playoff's this year. That is character...he could be the 1st real piece of the puzzle the Clippers need....Marcus is amazing...same thing...wants to win and leaves it all out on the court every night....Baron on the other hand...dude this is not Burger King...you can't have it your way...play the kind of ball that Mike D. wants to create and just work within his system...you didn't win any championships up north either....
