I'm a 24-year-old writer and basketball fanatic born and raised in Erie, Pa. I graduated from Mercyhurst College in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in English and a dual concentration in writing and creative writing. Having spent my entire life in Erie, I felt compelled to cover the BayHawks when the D-League franchise was born here last season. Of course, as a lifelong Los Angeles Lakers fan, I don't root for the BayHawks' NBA affiliates in Cleveland and Toronto, but I am excited to have an NBADL team playing in my hometown.
