Justin Coleman commits!!!!
According to the Jody Demling:
Huntington Prep senior wing Justin Coleman has committed to play basketball at the University of Louisville, giving the coaching staff the word Friday afternoon.
"They showed me the most interest and have been recruiting me for a while," Coleman told The Courier-Journal. "Coach (Rick) Pitino gets players to the league and they have some spots open at my position next year, so I can come in and play."
The 6-foot-4 Coleman said he also had offers from South Florida, Kentucky, Providence and Arkansas have all offered. He's originally from Richmond, Va., and is considered a top-25 prospect.
Coleman is still not academically eligible but said he was "really close."
Tony Stallings next RB coach?
According to Tony Stallings' facebook profile, he desires to be the next running backs coach at UofL.
"Well, after much prayer with my wife and family, I have made my intentions known, that I desire to be the next Running Backs coach at the University of Louisville. We will see what God has to say about this endeavor. Those of you who always pray for my family and I, please continue to do so, and please add this to the list. Thank you. God Bless. GO CARDS."

Running Backs
So according to Jerry McDonald's Twitter, this is Cable's plan for the running game now that Fargas is about to come back:
"Have two primary runners every game. Darren starter, other two are backups. Won't commit to No. 2."
Not sure how I feel about that. I know I'm a Bush fan so I may be a bit biased, but I thought he looked better than McFadden last night. Why not give the bulk of the carries to whoever looks best in practice? All 3 of ours guys are extremely talented. I feel like it might be a waste to just give McFadden most of the carries simply because he was our top draft pick two years ago.
On a different but related note, I'd like to see Mcfadden and Bush in the backfield together more. I feel like we could be very tricky with those two in at the same time. Wildcat anyone? Bush was an all-state QB in high school, and we all know what McFadden did with that formation in Arkansas. I think that would be fun to watch.
Still no respect
from Jamelle Harris on ESPN's 1st and 10. I just watched the show, so I doubt they have a llink up for the manuscript yet, but she just dogged our guys like crazy when debating the number one seeds with skip. Not only did she say the committee made the ultimate sin in choosing us for the number one overall seed, but she then said we shouldn't have been a 1 at all and that Memphis should have gotten it over us. Once again, the argument was that we didn't play the best teams enough times to say we are the true regular season/tourney champions. I'm getting sick of this argument. Pitt didn't take care of business at Freedom Hall, UConn couldn't take care of business either time it played Pitt. Neither could take care of business in the Big East Tournament. We won when we had to. I wonder if we actually do manage to win it all this year, but without having to face Pitt, Uconn, or UNC, if they will put a big asterisk by our name b/c we failed to play the best teams in the country.
Hopefully our boys watch 1st and 10. Pretty good motivational tool.
Cantwell making the most of his offseason
Bump
Apparently, whoever Hunter is training with in the offseason is getting him to do something nobody on our coaching staff could...revamp his throwing motion.
According to ESPN, it is paying big dividends, as his performance in the Shrine Game practices could potentially boost him to a mid round pick. I'm glad he's been able to help himself with this. He's always been a class act and a great guy for our football program.
