Being a full-time college student + working part-time at a fastfood restaurant sucks. I'm always left with no money. I've been an avid A's fan for years and have come to the dreadful conclusion to part ways with many of my A's things (for Christmas money). I'm selling four jerseys + an A's quilt + an A's fitted hat. I sincerely hate to do this but I'm at a loss as to what to do to earn some extra cash for the holidays. Anyways, here's a link to the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...

Hey guys, I made an ignorant mistake and bought tickets to an A's/O's game for Friday Firework Night on September 1st at 7:05. I bought them off eBay and neglected to remember our plane isn't going to be in Oakland until Saturday. The eBay URL is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&item=230009444002&rd=1&sspagena me=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1

If anyone is interested in acquiring these tickets, lemme know. Oh, and also, if anyone has any tickets they'd be willing to part with for the Monday, September 4th game, I'll be happy to purchase 'em.
:)

Hey folks, I've just booked plane tickets to Oakland for the September 1st - 3rd Baltimore series (no, not because the Orioles are an awe-inpsiring team, but because I'll have the weekend free from classes!), which will be my first visit to Oakland. Anyways, anyone have any recommendations as to where to acquire some decent A's tickets? Any preferable sections to sit in? I've checked out eBay and stubhub.com with no luck. Oh, what about hotel recommendations? Keep in mind, I tend to be frugal when visiting ballparks, but with gas prices the way they are . . . who isn't? :)
