Silver And Black Pride I thought this was interesting, even-though it comes from Warren Fatt..

Safety Michael Huff will become an unrestricted free agent when the lockout is lifted, but former Oakland Raiders teammate Warren Sapp thinks interested teams should think long and hard before signing him.

Sapp was a guest on a Dallas radio station on Tuesday, and the NFL Network analyst didn't hold back when asked if the Cowboys should court the defender, a local product who was a standout at the University of Texas “Michael Huff leaves something to be desired,” Sapp told KESN-FM via The Dallas Morning News. “I watched Huff for two years, not pick a pass off in practice. I saw him make a couple plays, lately. I’d really be interested to see his tape and watch his last couple of years because his first two make you want to throw up watching him practice.”

Huff was the seventh overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, but Sapp painted the picture of an entitled young player who didn't exert the proper effort to reach his full potential “I went so far with Michael Huff, and you can ask him this, that my last day in Oakland, I waited in the parking lot for Michael Huff," Sapp said. "I waited in the parking lot because I wanted to talk to the young man because he made me want to throw up watching him practice. I mean, the scout team would complete ball, after ball, after ball. I’m like, ‘You’re not going to make one play? I mean, you’re not even going to put your hand on it and knock it down?’”

Despite his perceived shortcomings, The Associated Press named Huff to its 2010 All-Pro second team. He finished last year with a career-high 94 tackles, two forced fumbles, seven passes defense and three interceptions. The 28-year-old has never missed a game in his NFL career

Bleeding Green Nation If the Eagles can add Nnamdi Asomugha and a slot receiver (preferably big, strong, and with soft hands)…

Than can the Eagles become relevant in the playoffs. The offensive line will of course need to do their job, but a good slot wr will not just help Maclin and Jackson but vice versa. This also takes pressure off your O-line, which, in  my humble opinion is in transition (power'less' to zone blocking). Adding Nnambi Awesome--One will improve the D-line by default and allow the line--backers the freedom to blizits more than the last few seasons. If these thing come to pass, you'll see quicker releases from Vick, and not on his back. Two shut down corners shutting it down, and the emergence of a dominate O-line in a few season that could add a great running game to boot.

If these additions can be made than the Giants have something to worry about within the division. I believe they'll win the division this season, yet may not if my changes are implemented.

On a personal note; No way does a team, in their right mind, give up a 1st round pick for a guy lacking a big arm. Korn on the Kolb, should just be happy if he can be a career back-up!

Poll
Does Eagles nation agree or disagree that Korn on the kolb should be content as a back up because as a starter he'll just blow?!!
Hell ya, brotha!!!

Silver And Black Pride jared gaither for our 2nd round pick...

after reading a post suggesting oakland should look at the ravens L.T. over donovan mcnabb it make more sense to shore up the o-line pick up a D.T. with the 8th pick.a strong o-line with a punishing d-line will allow us to control the ball, keep our d### freash.i personally believe with this in play & brue-oh-mighty at the helm we could not just win the afc west but go deep in the post season.
