Does anyone know if Biedrins is back in town?

I wonder how he looks and if anyone interviewed him. I'm hoping he never came back because that could be a tell that we're not going to move forward with him.

Everything was a smokescreen! This guy is the real deal.

With the Monta for Iggy trade on the table, we need to draft a center. We're not going to be able to pay for a center until we get rid of Biedrins. Why don't we draft the third best center of the draft? He has the best range of the centers in the draft and is most likely already an upgrade over Biedrins.

Kudos to Curry! It's cool that the whole league see's curry as a clean player. He never loses his cool or complains much about calls. He usually just jumps up and down like a kid when he commits a foul or does the stanky face. Great job Curry!

Golden State Of Mind What do you think would be best case scenario for the offseason?

It's that time again to think about what could be the best case scenario for the Warriors this offseason. Through trading, draft, and free agency. What would be the best case for you? Please only post things that we're actually capable of doing. This isn't another dream thread where we get Dwight Howard and CP3 here... There were 3 things that Larry Riley said we needed to do in order to become a playoff contention team:

1. Center

2. Third Guard

3. A wing defender

Here's a link to free agents:Free Agents By Position

For me, I think the best offseason moves we can make is:

1. Sign Marc Gasol

2. Sign Rodney Stuckey

3. Sign Tayshaun Prince

4. Get rid of Biedrins contract

5. Get a new coach

6. Draft Enes Kanter (hopefully we can trade Biedrins and get a higher pick)

Uggh I want Kenneth Faried!!!

If we get 11-13th pick, I say we go for him.! He'd be great for this team. We'd be able to play some small ball if needed and it would be way better than Vladi at the 4. Curry Monta Wright Faried Lee FTW! He'd also be a great bench guy... IMO hes got one of the best chances in this draft to have a very good career in the NBA. It would suck to see a team like OKC, Dallas, Magic, New Orleans (mid playoff teams) get this guy. I also think it could set us up to get rid of Lee's contract further down the line if he has a terrific rookie season. I watched this guy a bit and he's a beast! He reminds me of Birdman and De Andre Jordan... That toughness and never back down mentality. He looks to throw down everything and always goes hard. We need that toughness on this team again! BTW, he broke Tim Duncans all time rebounding record in the NCAA.

I know many of you hated the guy but I still believe he did very good with what he had with the Warriors. I really wanted to see what he could do with the lineup we had. You better know what you're doing Keith!

I don't know what to think of this... I really like Nellies experience and would like to see him coach a more veteran team this upcoming season. We all saw what he could do with people that know how to play basketball. With the addition of Dorrell Wright and David Lee, Currys emergence, Monta's whole offseason to reflect, and Biedrins health... Nelly may be able to coach this team back to the playoffs. One more year anyone? Just sayin...Why not?

Golden State Of Mind This is who we're drafting and why! (predicted Curry last year)

So draft night is in a couple of days and I wanted to try and make a prediction on who we're drafting and why... I sorta called out last season on who we should draft and why and it pretty much turned out good so I'm hoping I can do the same again. I'm not saying that it's because of me that we drafted someone good but I kind of just want to give a little prediction of what were going to do. I think I have a pretty good grasp of how Riley, Nelly and the scouts think.  Sooo here's my prediction.

With the 6th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors select ---- Al-Farouq Aminu!!!

So why do I think Larry and company are picking Aminu?

1) We just traded away Corey Maggette - Even though on Rileys interview regarding the trade where he said they traded him because there was a logjam at the 3 spot and wanted to make room for Reggie and Morrow, we still need to get bigger and  tougher at the 3 spot and we don't know if Buikie will be at full strength or re-injure. I also believe Buikie is a free agent after next season so Aminu will have a full season to try and beat out Buikie.

2) We got a backup center in return in the trade - I don't know much about him but we now currently have 3 centers that would allow us to get into foul trouble. We don't need to draft a center anymore and we don't need to draft Monroe who is pretty much a clone of Turiaf. PF/C that can pass well and is kind of soft on the board? I don't think I've seen anyone give this comparison which is quite odd...

3) We are building around Curry - Aminu is a beast in transition that doesn't need the ball in his hands and is a perfect compliment to our small guards. What he lacks in shooting range he more than makes up for it in the paint. He is  6'9 in shoes with a 7'3 wingspan which is amazingly longer than Josh Smith's 7'0 wingspan. The guy is a beast on the boards and averaged about 10 rebounds a game and he is an outstanding defender according to draft sites. Curry needs to have the ball in his hands next season and if he has Aminu on the break it's going to be a dunk in someones face. He's an incredible finisher at the rim with his long wingspan and athleticism. Fast break with Monta, Aminu, and Randolph? Get out of the way please =)...

4) We need more defense, more rebounding, and more size - These 3 things is what we all want. We already have the scorers, but it's never been about the scoring we've been bad it, it's the stuff that matters on the other side of the game - Defense. Aminu brings all of these 3 things. He's a very lengthy and athletic guy and has said that he sees himself as a SF more than a PF. His length, height, and athleticism will do wonders on the defensive end. He is a tremendous shotblocker and is also committed to playing de-fense. We need this guy to be alongside Curry and Monta period! His size and defensive presence is what will take us far someday!

5) Here's some random thoughts - He's pretty much a hybrid of Shawn Marion, Gerald Wallace, and Josh Smith and is only 19 years old! We already have 2 semi small shooters at the 3 spot in Morrow and Reggie, we need a true 3 that can bang/rebound/defend/block and DUNK on fools at the 3.

So in a nutshell? He is what the Warriors need and is the best pick for need available if the expected top 5 get picked in the top 5 (Wall, Turner, Johnson, Favors, Cousins) Let me know what you guys think! Here are some videos:

Cole Adrich anyone? I think it's time to draft a true center that is fundamentally sound and isn't all about flash. Does the dirty work and can guard in the post. He'd be a pretty good backup to Andris and may even be better already. He gets the "team" concept.

I needed a Warrior fix so I came across this old video of Randolph that made me remember how much potential he has to be a complete power forward.. I'm hoping the workouts with Chris Bosh can help him mold all his unique talents all into one complete package. Because from what I see, Randolph's game is all on intensity and athleticism. Once he learns to let the game come to him, he's going to be a monstrous force.

Golden State Of Mind What is wrong with you guys that want to trade Monta?

OK. For all the people that want to trade our supastar regardless of whatever happens this offseason is just plain CRAZY! Are you serious? Why would you want to trade a god given gift of a supastar?! If you look back on the Warriors history you'll be able to see how many stars we've traded away for a busto or for nothing. Do I need to remind  you of a few?

Webber...

Jamison...

Arenas...

Jackson?...

How can you guys be so quick to trade away a very talented and unique player - the most electrifying SG in the league with much more room to grow? Monta is a proven talent and was given the keys to stardom. Yes, it was pretty ugly this season but all of us know it was just a fluke. So why? WHY would you want to trade away a star for another project such as Turner? We've watched Monta grow and become one of the best shooting guards in the league and now after one horrible season you want to throw all of that away?

You can't deny Monta's talent. I can go into all of the aspects of his game but I'm sure all of us already know what they are. The only thing he really needs to work on is playing smarter and believing in his team. If he puts those two together then he'll be the same Monta we've come to love during the We Believe era.

Give Monta a chance, that's all I'm asking for. Can you even imagine how it would be if we actually traded Monta and watch him go to the playoffs and end up becoming an allstar on another team? Oh, that's right... that's what the Warriors have been known for... a training camp for upcoming stars. We can't keep making the same mistake over and over guys!!

So lets give Steph and Monta a full year with a healthy roster to show us what we can expect from them. The last game against the Blazers can be a starting point. Let's not make some crazy move just yet. It would be stupid to trade away a player that put up allstar numbers for a project... Plain and simple. We already have one of the best backcourts in the NBA, so let's work on our front court first. Now if we traded Monta for a proven big... that's a different story.

I wanted to show you a complete game of Demarcus Cousins. With the win of the coin toss were probably going to be looking at either Wesley Johnson, Derrick Favors, or Demarcus Cousins who might get picked up by Sac before us if you look at their center situation.

Golden State Of Mind Case for drafting Demarcus Cousins

So the end of the season is near and we all should be ready for tank mode, right?! Yes! We should all be in tank mode by now because the top 5 players in this draft can really help out any team, and especially a team like ours that is in need for change at every position besides the 1... You heard it fellas, by now, all of us should have given the keys to our upcoming superstar Stephen the Prodigy Curry!... Does that fit? I mean, I think it fits because his story tells it all. He was the kid of star Dell Curry so he should be a prodigy right? OK, anyways... Our point guard position is pretty much a done deal for I'm hoping the next 8 years or so. The rest of our positions can be changed but the one that we need most right now is the 5. So you read the title and I'm here to make the case for picking Demarcus Cousins no matter what pick we get. This man is a BEAST waiting to be unleashed but also needs to be kept on a leash...

Our team as of now really needs a change at the most critical position in the NBA - Center. It's no secret that the Dubs have been getting pounded on by every team in the NBA that has some size and/or beef and it's basically because we have none to back it up. I can't stress how important the center position is and I'm sure many of us know Biedrins was never and will never be the center that we need to be a championship caliber team. We now have the chance to use our pick on a young center that has the potential to become a very dominating force in the NBA for years to come.

Here are videos to get you in the mood:

Go to the 7:30 minute mark if you just want to see what his play of the game was and his stats and his knocked out teeth.

Ok... I know it's just little boys but at least he's showing us what he can do.

Imagine this being Curry to Cousins! No one wants to be in front of a 270lb beast running the floor!

Alright, so pretty good stuff huh? Yes, it's just high light reels but I can tell you that these highlight reels already impress me more than anything Andris Biedrins has done so far and this guy is still raw.

Take a good look at his draft express

The strengths which he possesses are everything that you can look for in a PF/C.

His weaknesses can all be turned into strengths with time. Big men take the longest to maximize their playing ability.

Look at our team and who we've drafted the past several years. We drafted a couple of guards and a couple of power forwards. It is finally time to draft a legit big man with BEEF!!! Not only does he have BEEF but he has the athleticism and length to become a very dominating force! They pretty much say he's a taller and more athletic Carlos Boozer.

I've been fed up with watching this team trying to compete against giants and not being able to pick up a defensive rebound because they are just too small or get pushed around so easily around the basket. Our best rebounders on the team consists of:

Biedrins who is a fairly good defensive rebounder but can't do jack on the offensive end which includes taking people off the dribble, creating his own shot, shooting a mid range jumper, ability to get to the FT line and of course making them. He also can't be relied on the defensive end for post up defense because he's waaaay to scrawny for a center and gets pushed around like a rag doll against practically any center in the NBA which probably includes our very own Chris Hunter.

Randolph is an OK rebounder but he thrives off getting rebounds with extra effort and jumping ability to get most of them instead of positioning and boxing out. Not only that, but he is looking to block a shot instead of alter it so many times he isn't going to grab the rebound anyways. For him to become the best player he can be, he needs to have a center that can offset his tremendous athletic abilities. Hey... don't we have a chance at that with Demarcus Cousins?! Yes!

Basically... Cousins is a player that can really help us fill a void; he's been the missing piece we've been looking for. Remember Larry Riley saying we're looking for BEEF? Now is the time buddy. Keep to your words and do us all a huge favor by not drafting Favors and drafting the BEEFY and nimble Demarcus Cousins.

Curry would have the high-flyer Randolph to throw some lobs to and Cousins for some high-power moves. It's what I've been waiting for baby...

If somehow we luck into the 1st or 2nd pick, I say trade it away for the 3rd pick so we can still pick up either Wall / Turner or Cousins. If someone else drafts him then we go for Wall / Turner / or Favors. It's that easy fellas! But our priority should be Cousins, hands down.

I really hate the current NBA officials...

Sorry but this is just a rant so don't read if you don't want to. I just watched the Bulls vs Nets game go to double OT and it was just one of the worst called game ever because of the stakes. I know some of you probably know what call I'm talking about when D Rose had a clear path to dunk the ball when they were up 2 points in 1st OT and he gets fouled blatantly by Courtney Lee and then the refs call it out on Rose's knee. And then they go to replay to see if it really was out on him then CLEARLY on the replay you can see Courtney Lee foul him twice and then grab his arm down HARD and then still out on Rose. It should have been Bulls ball because Rose wouldn't have lost it if he didn't get fouled. I really hate the refs and their dirtiness. They need to get rid of these refs or have some kind of new rule to have challenging. It's getting ridiculous and this game just seriously hurt the Bulls playoffs push and could have been ahead a .5 game ahead of Toronto.

Horford was actually a pretty cool guy he was talking to alot of people and Mo Evans too... that guy looks so much like a bigger Mayweather Jr. Zaza wasn't talking to anyone. He was just staring at people and I tried to say whats up to him but he just looked at me and dawged me haha what a meanie. But I just hope these guys are hungover or something... The Warriors were also out clubbing in SF as well at Suite 181 (Curry, Morrow)

Morrow a trade commodity... Nooooo!!!!

Former NBA player Dennis Scott, working for NBA TV, says Anthony Morrow could be a trade commodity. "I've heard teams talking about, 'How can we make a move to go get him?' " Scott told the San Francisco Chronicle. "He would be perfect for a playoff team that has a player who gets double-teamed."

No, please don't do it!!! Please you good for nothing front office, DO NOT TRADE MORROW!!!! If they dare trade Morrow he's just going to be another future all-star that we trade away... We've seen what he can do in games. He commands attention and sometimes even the best wing defender has to be put on him. Once he learns how to move really well without the ball, use screens, gets plays called for him, and starts to take more shots without caring about his FG% he's going to be very very deadly. And yes, it's true that he would be a very good player on a playoff team. Just imagine if he was on a team like the Magic where I'm sure he would be there starting SG. Morrow is a rare diamond in this league and we'll never be able to find someone to replace him. THE ONLY way I'd trade him for is if we really got a superstar in return somehow. A package of Wright + Morrow+ Maggette for a SUPERSTAR. NOTHING LESS!!!

Golden State Of Mind It's evident we have one of the best backcourts in the NBA...but

What more could we ask for from our starting back court?

Stephen Curry - May be on his way to obtaining the rookie of the year award if he can keep playing the way he has been lately. Currently, I believe he's the runner up for ROY. NBA.com is all over him, ESPN is all over him, GSOM is all over him... The dude can flat out play! He has great composure and really looks under control at all times besides the times when he gets hung up in the air and makes a bad pass but even Monta still does that. He can shoot from anywhere on the court as well as pass from anywhere on the court. The golden boy will surely impress us for years to come. Nellys molding him into a little Steph Nasshty. Yay!

Monta Ellis - All star caliber. That alone should be enough to describe Monta. It's been a pleasure to watch Monta turn into a rising star and it's really still his first year becoming the focal point of the opposing teams scouting report. So far he's been unstoppable and it's still his first year as the leader of a high scoring team. Next year will be so much easier for him as he'll know what to expect and he'll watch tape to counter the opposing teams traps. All Monta needs is another all star big to really open up possibilities.

Corey Maggette - Probably the most efficient SF in the league - stats wise (fg%, ft%, amount of ft's etc.) Maggs has been unbelievable lately. Seriously!! Who would have known he'd be this good?! He's having the best year of his career and has overcame the thousands of Boo's at Oracle Arena! That is just CRAZY! EVERY player that we Boo'd has wanted to run for the door crying and have nothing to do with our team but Maggs came out saying he doesn't understand it and wants to be a part of this drama queen team. He looks so much under control now and can literally get points at will. Who wouldn't want this guy to be part of your team? He's such a hustler and I love it when he smirks when he knows he got the best out of the other team from pure hustle, wits, and determination.

Clearly, there is nothing wrong with our starting back court. I would say they compliment each other very well and can compete with the best of the best. Our problem lies within our front court. Yes, they're all banged up and we never really had a chance to fairly evaluate them all together. But, to me, it's clear that for in order for our high octane offensive team to be successful, we're going to need another high scoring big man. I know we'd all like to have someone that can play defense/rebound/pass/shoot 60% from the field...(Nene, drool) don't know where you can find too many of those but as of this moment none of our bigs can adequately do this.

So is Randolph going to turn into that scoring beast we all need him to become? Maybe... What about Brandon Wright? Maybe... Can they both play defense and block shots? Yes! Without a doubt. What about Andris Biedrins  =) ? Nope! He's never going to be the scorer we need down low but he sure does bring the things that are needed to win games. Block shots / Rebound /  look good in a suit ... what else does he do? Oh I think that's it. So is Andris our problem? I think so!

For Nelly's teams to be successful, there has to be a scoring big man. Hence the reason why he plays everyone out of position because he needs to have a scoring big man. What if we actually had a scoring big man that plays at their natural position and can take so much pressure off of our back court? We'd be a pretty darn good team and do I dare say it? a "complete" team if we obtained a high scoring big man that could possibly be the focal point of the opposing teams defense. We already have an unstoppable backcourt so why not get an unstoppable big man that will compliment them?

So how do we do it? Bye Bye Biedrins and our expiring contracts. Flame me all you want, but to me, it's evident that Andris is our problem. Our starting $55mil big man that doesn't play in the 4th quarter is our problem. The same one that is also injury prone and soft around the rim and would rather lay it in than dunk it because he's scared to shoot free throws. The same one that hears cheers every time he shoots free throws which probably makes him more nervous. Sorry Biedrins, I love your game but you just don't fit the mold of Nelly's type of big and it hurts the teams chemistry so much. If your scared to lose our beloved Biedrins and what he brings, we'll still always have Turiaf and we can bench Randolph or Wright to make room for the 4 spot. Turiaf has been gaining more respect from Nelly lately anyways.

I'm not trying to link a certain player that we need to trade for but rather I'm trying to say we need a scoring big man, period. I hope you guys can see that's what were really lacking and that all of the elite teams have a scoring big man... But, there are a few scoring big mans that I can think of =)

What's worse? A DUI or a gun felony charge? Is the NBA just suspending him because of the type of star he is and the way the media twisted the story? Anyway, the photo didn't help. But IMHO I believe a DUI is much much much worse. We all know Arenas wouldn't harm anyone... and a DUI is so much worse in many ways. Oh well... not too many gun related things pop up in the NBA I guess and their using him as an example to show that the NBA DOES CARE!

Let's go for Al Jefferson

Al Jefferson and Pecherov for Andris Biedrins, Brandan Wright, and our first round draft pick.

I would do this in a heartbeat. What you guys think? It would just suck if we got the #1 draft spot but if we didn't then this trade would be golden IMO. We'd be very very hard to stop with Al Jeff on our team and we'd finally have the post player and Beef we always wanted. This could make our team complete and there are rumors Minnesota wants to trade him because of the ineffectiveness of Love and Jeff in their new triangle offense.

Golden State Of Mind Oh man we need a better center badly

After watching what is going to be my most memorable game (Denver game) it's clear Biedrins and Turiaf aren't the answer. Biedrins is too soft and can't even shoot free throws so he's not even in the game during the 4th quarter. What good is our starting center if we can't even count on him in the 4th quarter which leads to Nellie going small and makes all of us go WHY THE HECK ARE WE GOING SMALL IN THE 4th?! We obviously need a big man that can control the paint, box out, and doesn't even have to be a great blocker. WE NEED someone that can control the paint without having to block shots because we know Randolph will already come from the weak side. We need someone tough like Nene which isn't even that good but he has that fire in him that would make anyone scared to try and bang with him on the street courts.

We need to trade Biedrins away if we are going to make it in this tough conference. He clearly isn't going to cut it for us in the playoffs if we ever get back there. I know he just came off a lengthy injury but seriously... do you really think Biedrins can take on the likes of Bynum / Yao / Nene / Duncan / ... I can go on and on about all the mismatches Biedrins has. Let's be real... the dude isn't going to improve much more and we need to get someone that can help us dig deep in the 4th and be a real post presence.

Our team will NEVER have problems scoring so we need to balance it out with someone at the 5 that can actually play some defense. Yes, I know it's our wing defenders that are letting the guys go to the basket at will but what about all of those offensive rebounds were giving up? It's really painful to see our guys grab a defensive rebound... It's like they are at 2:1 odds when they try to grab defensive rebounds. What's so hard about bodying up when a shot goes up...

So what do you guys think? Keep Biedrins? It's just our whole team not bodying up? It's Randolph and Turiaf's fault for trying to block everything?

Should we try for T-Mac?

Basically the trade would be T-Mac for Raja, Claxton, George, Radman, and BWright + approx $1.5 mil cash.

The only thing we'd really be missing is what Brandon Wright could have become and Radman's veteran defensive presence. T-Mac would really take away time from Morrow and Curry but he could also come off the bench and be what Maggette use to be. He would also be a pretty nifty expiring contract. What do you guys think? I'm just throwing things out there...

Let's not blame Nellie so soon

I've been saying how he really sucks as a coach too but lets take a look at what he's done so far: 2006-07 Right when Nelly came in he played the mad scientist and got us into the playoffs with veteran players that could play efficiently on an extremely fast run-n-gun system. We all miss them. 2007-08 He took the same team minus J-Rich and made history winning 48 games and not making the playoffs. 2008-09 We lose our Boom Dizzle and Thunder and Ninja Turtle and Air France. Injuries we lose Monta/Maggs/BWright/Biedrins... I know theres more. 2009-10 You already know So how can we be so quick to blame everything on Nelly? We already knew this year was doomed from the second game onward. The injury bug plagued the team very early this season and we probably haven't seen the worst of it. *knock knock knock Lets not forget most of us haven't even lived long enough to equate to the number of years Nelly has been living and breathing basketball. We know what he has done, and that's take what he's given and maximize their talent to the max. He's the mad scientist of the NBA and there is always a reason behind his methods. So what I'm trying to get at is that if you give Nelly the right players he'll maximize their talents as well and probably get us back to the playoffs.

Possible Anthony Randolph Blockbuster trade?

The Golden State Warriors have yet to receive an attractive offer for Anthony Randolph, according to Yahoo Sports, which means teams may still be scrambling to put together a package for the high-ceiling forward. Randolph's agent told ESPN.com's Chris Broussard that his client isn't against a trade, but, as Broussard pointed out, he may be a tough asset to trade because he is valued far higher than his $1.8 million salary. New York and Houston were mentioned as possible landing spots. Real GM also reported that though the Warriors don't want to trade young guards Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry and Anthony Morrow, they aren't in a position to rule anything out. So it's possible that the blockbuster trade might be be on the way to send Randolph out of town with a bigger salary.

Golden State Of Mind Another front office mistake...

Another one bites the dust...

Thanks to our beloved front office we've yet again blew up our team. This seasons future looks like a complete bust already after only the 1st quarter and it's of course all due to the Golden State Warriors lovely front office. We are now looking to trade the "untouchables" when we could have traded them for a legitimate superstar (Amare).

Imagine if we actually went through with the trade...

Monta

Jackson

Buike

Wright

Amare

OMG... FML!!!! I don't think Buike or Wright would've been injured because duh the outcome of the game would be different unless it's like Final Destination and the future is already written... but anyways... Yeah, really though? The front office is pretty darn stupid if they end up trading any of our so called "Untouchables" because they'll just be repeating the same thing they've done for the past 14 or something years. Plain stupid if they end up trading any of the pieces that could have been dealt for Amare.

One thing is for sure, and that thing is one of the skinny power forwards has got to go. For me? I would let Randolph go. From what I've seen, I think Brandon Wright is going to be the type of PF that will give you everything that is labeled of him every single night (consistency; think Chris Bosh). Anthony Randolph will be the type that will give you what you want to see (think Josh Smith).

Brandon Wright has shown excellence mostly every game he's started from what I remember of last season. He was showing that sweet lil baby hook and mid range jumper that he was knocking down on a pretty good percentage oh and even threw down those tomahawks and windmill dunks. We know he can block shots and rebound if he puts his heart into it but we also know he needs to gain weight which can be done over time. Wright can be that low post threat we've always been looking for and he doesn't  force things even as a youngster..."Whacha know 'bout that baby hook foo?!"

Anthony Randolph CAN be a beast but at most times he looks like a 6th grader that just got into JV and thinks he's the best guy on the floor. He can be seen most of the time calling for the ball as he runs the floor or jumping at any sign of a shot attempt (offense or defense). He has a great FT stroke and can shoot the mid range but has yet to show any signs of consistency. He can also run the floor and handle the ball pretty well for his size and of course block and rebound shots if he puts good solid effort into it. But! To me, everything he does on the court looks like a desperate move to gain attention from the league. He just needs to let the game come to him...

So yeah, front office... why didn't you trade for Amare again?...you suck Cohan. Larry Ellison FTMFW.

Front page of ESPN. It's great to see Ellis getting recognized for the monster games he's been having.

Golden State Of Mind I think it's time that we finally hand over the team to Monta

There has been so much talk about Monta the past couple of months that we forgot how good he really was. We signed him to a $66 million contract for a reason, and that reason was because we wanted to hand over the team to him. We've been caught up in all of this media blabber and forgot that maybe it was always the medias intention to turn our backs on Monta. The game Monta played in Portland really got me amped up about whats to come for the rest of the season. Monta is all star caliber no question!

I forgot what freak of an athlete Monta was before Portlands game; his lighting fast change of gears  then finishing with silky smooth layups. Please, name one other person in the NBA that can pull off the kind of layups Monta does night in and night out. If Monta can truly become a better passer and put in the same effort on D against Brandon Roy, we're going to have ourselves a very intriguing/unique specimen on our team for a loooong time.(5+years?)

The last interview I heard with Monta was that he clearly wanted to be a Warrior for as long as possible, and why wouldn't he?! This is HIS team! If he were to go to another organization he might not be their main man. So having that said, I do not mind at all to have Stephen Curry be our point guard because clearly Monta can guard the bigger 2 guards now. Curry is clearly the better point guard right now so let him be the point! The star of the team doesn't have to be the point guard, ala Kobe Bryant. When the game is on the line I want the ball to be in Monta's hands because that's what a leader or a star does. We have to let Monta become the star that we always wanted him to be and for that to happen he has to make the big plays for us.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one that thinks we may have started to hate on Monta a bit too much but all I'm trying to say is we should all start to believe in Monta and know that he'll do what's good for the team from here on out. I feel after Portlands game were going to have a pretty surprising season and our season starts now as a brand new team... hopefully Turiaf, Biedrins, Watson, Wright, Azubuike, Nellie, and now Anthony Randolph get better soon and we can gain back some respect from this league... Dang our team is probably worse off than last season,That's sad!!! LGW!!
