Post Day 1, Round 2 Mock
What a first round! I know this will get blown up rather quickly by trades that I just can't predict, but here is a stab at Round 2.
Ask a Seahawks fan
Hello Panther fans. Your team is coming up on the Hawks schedule this Sunday and I figured I would initiate some dialogue with you to get to know more about your team as we anticipate the upcoming game. We have had back to back beatings and have 1 win in our last 5 games, yet we are still battling for the NFC West. Our offense has been struggling to cash-in in the red zone and we have not had any success running due to consistent injuries to OL and FB and our defense is getting worn down by tough rushers, opening up potent passing games.
With that said, I know Carolina has a decent running game; many in the NW wish we had Jonathan Stewart. Should we be concerned about your ability to pass? Our offense has used many short passes to replace the lack of rushing attack. How has your defense held up? What areas of your team need the most improvement? What is your injury situation like? How are your rookies, especially Clausen? Will bringing in a new coach help? Is there any indication that your team is better than your record indicates or in other words is there any hope for your team to turn things around quickly?
Ask whatever questions you've got and hopefully you'll get an answer from myself or another Field Gulls regular.
