So if we look at the decade of 1990-1999, arguably the top decade for UK basketball, 4 FF, 2 NC and establish that run as the benchmark for greatness, what do you predict for the decade of 2010-2019? 

I don't know that much history of UK and other programs in terms of 10 year runs...certainly UCLA has the all-time decade which will NEVER be duplicated, but what do you think Cal's run will look like, what would be success, what would be disappointment???

Hopefully we won't go through another 10 year run like we just did!!!

My definition of success would be 5 FF and 2 NC with at least 5 SEC titles.

One of my friends down here in UNC country (please pray for me!!!) said that UK is the College Basketball addition of Extreme Home Makeover...NIT one year...MOVE THAT BUS!!!  Potential Sweet 16/Elite 8 the next year...two questions for you to consider:

 1.What do you think is the biggest difference between UK from April 2008 versus April 2009?  Also, do you think any other coaching decision could have made this much of an expectation impact?

2. What are your realistic (yeah right! like UK fans are ever realistic!!! :)) expectations for 2009-10?

Question for y'all?  Since this is our 3rd coaching search since 1997...which time was this a better job or a worse job?  Was it harder taking over for Pitino, Smith or BCG??? 

I feel like it is t'd up to be a home run for the right coach, but the perspective nationally is that UK is in disarray?  I feel like recruiting is at least back in play and the current talent base is better than when Smith left, but overall the perspective of the program has fallen dramatically since 1997.
