Born and raised in Harrodsburg, KY, Brandon now resides in Lexington after graduating from UK with his bachelors in Economics. The first four years of his life saw Eddie Sutton drag the basketball program to the bottom and his last four years (and all four years of college) saw him witness the horror that was Tubby's last two years at UK and Gillispie's tenure. Brandon isn't very happy that his UK basketball experience was soured during college, but is very excited that John Calipari has come to resurrect the basketball program now that he's out.

Brandon found his way to sbnation and the blog aseaofblue on recommendation of a friend who, like him, was fed up with the absolute ignorance displayed on catspause.com. Brandon is very passionate about both UK basketball and Cincinnati Reds baseball. He is currently employed at Kroger, getting ready to work at Windstream through a temp agency and actively looking for a full-time job. Also, he occasionally likes to speak in the third person.
