Clark was signed for a $14M - 4 year deal. Another safety off the board. What direction are the Bears going in for safety now?

Windy City Gridiron Chambers Waived

"The San Diego Chargers lost patience with wide receiver Chris Chambers and waived him Monday, according to ESPN.com's Adam Schefter, freeing Chambers to sign with another team.

He was replaced in the Chargers' lineup two weeks ago after not making a play on four balls thrown his way.

Chambers has nine catches for 122 yards and a touchdown, but had clearly fallen out of favor with quarterback Phillips Rivers."

Didn't he used to be good?

I'm still confident with Hester at #1, Bennett at #2, and Knox getting healthy PT.

Windy City Gridiron Q1 Predictions

Predictions give us a chance to compete with the experts that we all already know we are smarter than. I pointlessly write e-mails to the horrible fantasy football forecasters and rankers of Yahoo!Sports, ESPN, and CBSSportsline telling them how obviously wrong they are. Right or wrong, the experts have a sweet job. So let's see what our "experts" at WCG can do. I am curious as to everyone's predictions and forecasts on this season's playoff teams and awards. But, we have an early bye week so let's see what everyone is thinking.

My predictions after the jump: (No idea how to make a jump)

Windy City Gridiron A Report on "Whiney Babies"

First post and completely editorial:

Ever since that glorious day in April that Jerry Angelo and his Bearmates finally decided to bring in an NFL Pro-Bowl caliber QB, the Chicago fans and organization have taken a lot of heat on message boards and blogs. Our new shining QB has been called a whiney baby, a brat, and immature and other posers have also said how they wish unpleasant outcomes on him and made fun of his diabetes. It hurts, it stings, we are so excited and no one can be excited that we are excited. Mike Florio on PFT.com flat-out hates Cutler and portrays him in a horrible light every chance he gets. The message boards on PFT refer to him as "Cuntler". ESPN is filled with "haters". It takes a large Bears fan to not rip them a new one and finally realize they are jealous and if their team had traded for Cutler, all would be okay.

The majority of Bears fans have gotten used to the name calling and side with our guy in the McDaniels vs. Cutler battle and are confident that the critics will be silenced. What is the result of other "forced trades" and how did other "whiney baby" NFL players end up? Let's take a look:
