JUST SAYIN....
HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lolololololol Oh man, it doesn't matter what the skins do this year, although I am a bit happier with their performance. We should be able to at least wild card next year... if we can get an offensive line. looks like that we will see mad blitz packages all year now, after the lions killed us... and still not quite sure what happened in the last two minutes... Oh well next week should be interesting
How do you miss an extra point distance field goal?

Ok maybe not. Washington dominated this game with it's second and third string filling in for starters. With the exception of Chris Cooley, what does that say about the Skins Staff? I have been saying all year it isn't the players, but for crying out loud the last three losses (including this one) the skins have looked like a decent team. On both sides of the ball. It's a shame that a field goal kicker can't hit one inside 30 yards. A crying shame. I know I am not a professional ball player, but I am pretty sure that's what he gets paid for. The look on zorn's face was priceless...... even he couldn't believe it.
Dan Snyder and the state of the Redskins
So I have been a 'Skins fan since as long as I can remember, my earliest memories as a child were with Chris Hamburg, Jorgenson, And a few others. And for as long as I can remember, JKC was running the show, and good or bad, he stuck to his guns, staff and took care of that busniess like it was a family member.
In any case some intersting stats..... Speaking of Jack Kent Cooke and his management team
"In his twenty-three years as the team's majority owner, the Redskins were 223-151, winning Super Bowls in 1982, 1987, and 1991. Under the coach Joe Gibbs, the Redskins also won four National Football Conference championships and made eleven playoff appearances."
And Then Dan Snyder.....
82W-93L-1 tie 2 playoff appearances both under gibbs in the 10 year strech between 97 and 07
Doesn't take a math major to figure out Snyder and his crew couldn't manage a Mcdonald's on a good day does it? I have read alot about Zorn, Campbell, and the team as a whole not being up to the standard in today's NFL. What ISN'T stated enough is that the blame is landing squarely on the shoulders of those trying to do their job under a management system that puts quantity (money) over quality ( letting those that know the game run the game). I don't care if Dan Snyder's personality is that of mother Theresa of Gandhi, the bottom line is in his time period he is running what was once a respected NFL tean directly into the ground. Is it any wonder Six Flags is going under too?
Bottom line is, I am a major redskins fan, if I had the money I'd love to play owner too. Difference being between me and Mr Snyder I have enough sense to step back and say OK, time to let the veterans run the show instead of firing them when they tell me the truth instead of being yes men. Put the blame on the fall of the skins right where it belongs, Dan Snyder.
