A few words and Fantasy Football

I want to use this post to talk about two things: Fantsay Football and Brandon Marshall.

The first thing I want to talk about is Fantasy Football. Every year I create a fantasy football league. Last year a few members of MHR joined and I thought it was really cool. This year I really want to fill my league up. There are 8 spots left and I would love it if they were filled up by my fellow MHR brothers and sisters. If you hate the chargers as much as I do then join my league because most of the people in the league are charger fans. The draft is next wednesday at 7pm pst. It's a 16 team league on fleaflicker. The roster consists of 1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1RB/WR/TE 1DEF/ST 1K and 6 bench players. If you're interested in joining just post your email in the comments and I'll send you the details. Also, I would really apreciate it if you guys rec this post so that it doesn't get buried under the great articles that everyone post.

Now on to Marshall. I was one of the people that defended him whenever he got into trouble. I just don't know how I feel anymore. I love how he plays and I don't want to see him play anywhere else. Having said that, if he decides that he wants to stay in Denver, I'm not sure that I'll be able to support him like I used to just because he's a Bronco. Don't get me wrong, I'll always root for the succes of this franchise and if that means that I have to root for his success then that's what I'll do but it will always be bittersweet. Does anybody else feel this way?

Update: I couldn't have picked a worse time to post this. I woke up this afternoon excited about checking my post to see who commented. Instead I found a flurry of "Marshall has been suspended" posts. All I have to say is, It's about time.

Thundercat Formation

So, last week I was so bored that I decided to create a new formation. I wanted to somehow merge the wildcat offense with the magic 3(3-TE) offense. I finished a rough sketch of what it would look like and then sent it to Hoosierteacher so that he could tell me how to make it better. His suggestion were great. Many thanks HT! Anyway, you can see the finished Thundercat formation after the jump.

Can you imagine this formation with Moreno and Hillis in the backfield with DG, Sheff and Quinn at TE with Bmarsh as the reciever? You could also put in Eddie as a RB or have him replace Bmarsh. Let me know what you guys think, don't be shy.

So I found a movie making program that came with my computer and I started to think about what I could do with it. For the longest time I have wanted to make a highlight reel with my own music. Then I got the idea of making one long highlight reel but instead of doing it for one player, I want to make it for our whole draft class. So now the only thing that I need is the film which is what I need help with. If any of you know where I can download the 2008 season for each of our draftees and maybe some ufas I would really appreciate if you tell me where. Also, as you can imagine this is going to be a huge time-consuming project so if any of you want to help me just let me know. Thank you and long live MHR!

My Official 7 round Broncos Mock Draft Entry

This is the first 7 round mock draft I have ever done. I used DraftTek.com to simulate a draft and then I changed each one of Denver's picks to players that I wanted who were still available. They had us taking Jackson at 12 but I switched him to 18. They also had Cushing going to the Bills at 11 but I switched him to 12. I also used Styg's player ranking for rounds 4, 5, and 7 so thank you Styg and thank you Broncobear for that excellent post on Bear Pascoe. So anyway, here it is:
