Sox fan since I was old enough to play baseball. My dad (also a lifetime fan) moved out of Chicago just before the series in '59. I moved to Chicago the summer of '05. I guess the Sox just needed someone from my family in the city to go all the way.

Comparing team performance to salary.

Here's a very interesting and quite cool little Java applet that compares each MLB team's performance to their total player salary.

Sure would like to see the Sox rise up out of the red and into the blue. Interesting to note that the Cleveland Indians have the best "wins:dollars spent" ratio. Detroit's isn't so bad either. But look at the chart to see for yourself, this paragraph is just filler to meet the 300 character minimum.

Friday tickets vs Twins

It just hit me last night that I'm going home for Easter and won't be able to go to Friday's game.

I have two tickets (BOX542, Row 14, Seats 14 & 15) with a face value of $19 each but I'll sell the pair for $30.

Tickets are actual tickets and not a ticketmaster printout. I work at North/Clybourn and live at Lincoln/Diversey. Can meet anywhere close to these locations for pick up.

email me at ihatejudgejudy@yahoo.com

Thanks.

Tampa Bay tickets

I have two tickets to the 31st game against Tampa Bay. I can't go since it's a day game. But here's your chance to watch the Sox beat up on the D-Rays and enjoy $1 hot dogs.

I'll sell the the pair for $20, or would be willing to trade (plus cash) for tickets to another game. Drop me a line if interested, plus I'll also be at tonight's game if you want to meet up. Thanks.

SEC 542, row 4, seats 9 & 10

What's at the corner of 35th and Shields?

Some recent talk about Wrigley Field and the supposed importance of the stadium itself got me thinking about the ballpark "our guys" play in. Many of us grew up going to games at Comiskey Park but suddenly find ourselves across the street at US Cellular Field. I know there's some division here, so let your voice be heard. Where do you say you're going when headed to a game?
