OT - PRO Team Rankings from BizJournal.com

Good Afternoon All,

I was listening to a local sports talk show and they were talking about this article from bizjournal.com that ranked every Pro Sports team based on different stats. ENJOY

Half of a team’s score was determined by its level of success on the field, court or ice. Bizjournals’ formula considered each franchise’s win-loss record, average margin of victory (or defeat), and playoff results.

The other half was determined by a team’s relative success in business. The formula analyzed average home attendance, the percentage of available seats sold for home games, and the increase (or decline) in a franchise’s value from 2007 to 2008. The latter was based on annual estimates published by Forbes magazine.

What 2009 Baseball games are you attending?

I am curious as to what baseball games everyone will be attending in 2009 and what teams or players would you like to see play?

Do you plan to travel to see a couple of games?  New York’s new stadiums, Historic Stadiums like Wrigley Field, Fenway, even a minor league game.

LouTheBetsFan and I will be attending the Nationals home opener if possible and maybe a couple of other Nationals game and a minor league game or two; I also will be attending part of the Cubs Nationals series here in DC with my father (which has never seen a pro game).

Teams and Player that I would like to see play, I want to go up to Fenway again and see the Sox and Yanks, like to see the Rays play, and Manny who ever he decides to play for this year.
