Here's Jonathan getting ready for the game this morning with his friend Joe Bruin. Joe is actually a gift he gave me for Mother's Day this year, though he doesn't know it.

My proudest moment as a parent came last week. Jonathan was perfectly content playing on his activity mat when Mr. BB changed the channel on the TV to the Oregon-u$c*. Jonathan took one look at the TV, saw u$c*, heard their band, and started his angry cry. Other than when he was born, I was never so happy to hear him cry.

Scroll ahead to about 3:30 and 4:15. Two touchdowns and two Lambeau Leaps for Spencer Havner yesterday.

Extra bonus, Thom Brenamen commented how Mr. Aikman told everyone for two days that Spencer Havner went to UCLA, though that's not on this video.

Jonathan. Yes, the BB baby decided he had enough of his mommy pumping him with aderneline the last two games, and decided to show up before the Kanas State game, 17 days early and exactly one year to the day of his only cousin (a fellow UCLA legacy). Yes, you read that right, my in-laws' grandkids have the same day, which is the day after my father-in-law's birthday.

However, little Jonathan won't be able to enjoy much of his first game, part because of the time (9 pm may be past his bedtime) and because he is getting some therapy for jaundice. It's nothing serious, but he's required to spend most of his time on a tanning bed in his crib, and can only get up for changes and feedings, and can only wear a diaper. However, his dad is quite resourceful, so he won't go totally without a game.

That also means, I won't be able to get a picture of him in his UCLA gear until the Stanford game, but the most important thing is that, jaundice aside, our little guy is healthy and his on his way to being Bruin.

P.S. I mentioned that Mr. BB is resourceful. When he came back to the hospital after getting his last night of uniterrupted sleep for a while, he brought Jonathan's "UCLA 101" book and we have a picture of us showing it to him.

The good part about being married to a Cheesehead is that the Packers have two Bruins (Brandon Chillar and Spencer Havner). Here is Chillar displaying some moves last night. He is becoming a fan favorite in Green Bay.
