A little off topic. This story is about someone trying to sue an anonymous poster on a website. This is a first of its kind case in KY, but has precedent in other states.

From the story:
But in May, a newspaper in the St. Louis area, the Alton Telegraph, was ordered to provide authorities with the identities of two people who commented online about a murder investigation. A judge ruled that Illinois' law shielding journalists from disclosing their sources does not protect online bloggers.

"I think it comes as a surprise to many who regularly post comments (online) that the law of libel applies to them," said Sandra Baron, executive director of the Media Law Resource Center in New York.

I'm sure some of you have heard about some of his comments yesterday on Cal. However, the above quote (via uksportsinfo) is crossing a line, in my opinion. So, you compare possible violations to child molestation? I expect nothing less from ESPN, which has lost its way.

I guess I just do not find anything about children being molested funny.
