this year has started out like so many others..lots of hope followed by nothing but  disappointment. this has been the case for many many years, and I'm just starting to think, am i the joke my friends say i am?

                                                      many of us are not just fans, we bleed and breathe for buffalo. i am pretty smart or at least know enough about football to engage in a conversation..but one thing i always have a soft spot for is the bills. i always think its our year, i always believe we're gonna put out a decent product. i google the bills all off season long, get excited with every free agent pick up, every draft pick. i honestly believe every year that my friends are the ones wrong and they know nothing about football. they proceed to laugh at me and tell me how crazy i am.....but i don't see it. i honestly believe I'm right. but every year one way or the other my team lets me down.

                      i don't wanna hear the young quarterback excuse, there are plenty of guys who have less experience and there playing well. i don't wanna hear the injury excuse anymore, its gonna happen to every team and is part of the game. what is it that makes us believe so much in a team that literally hasnt even been relevant to football the last decade? i know im being negative about it , but really ive been positive for far too long and i cant even get teased!!! i love the fanbase, we as bills fans seem to love our team like no other, and its definitely not because we win! i just wish for once we'd get it right somehow

                            as i sat at the bar amongst 15 of my buddies , none of which is a bills fan,  and i watched as miami looked like a 3-0 team while taking the game away in the first quarter , i slowly realized..it may never get better. we must do something to put some excitement back into the TEAM. the fans are here waiting, and they sell out ralph wilson as if they were superbowl bound. its the team itself that needs a boost. i dont know what its gonna take, but i know it starts with letting dick jauron go, and even thats not everything. but something has got to be done or i fear that in a few short years we will be in toronto or l.a. and that would make me a lifelong dummy!!! i would never cheer for a toronto team, and cant even think of loving football without the bills. we need to do something, our fans did there part. we still buy the tickets and we still love our team, now its time for us to be rewarded. we dont even count in our division and havent for some time while in the last ten years all 3 of our division rivals have enjoyed some type of revival. its becoming frustrating and its not just me venting cause im mad about being 1-3, this is me realizing just how crazy i must be to believe this team is good enough to compete every year only to see that we are not going anywhere this year and possibly next, unless you call toronto going somewhere.
