This is an interesting article about the cost of ATL's Julio Jones trade and the role of wide receivers on any team. But the thing that struck me the most is in their brief description of Victor Cruz, the writer admits that Cruz is "productive because he's paired with a great quarterback." This is the first time I remember seeing any 3rd party editorial call Eli "great" in some sort of matter-of-fact way like it's finally become common knowledge. Just more validation. Eli is not only "great," he's "Eli-te".

Carl's rant from before the Giants took down the Pats in the Superbowl. Worth revisiting even today, especially before this week's game. Enjoy!

What a game last night! Can't to see if they can keep it rolling at home when a whole mess of football recruits will be in town. Nice to see them starting to get a little love around the blogs. Roberson, Dufault and Knutson have been huge in support of Higgins and Burks. GO BUFFS!

The Ralphie Report Arizona DT Coach Tuiasosopo off to Colorado

It looks like we've got ourselves another defensive coach for Embree's staff.  Judging by the comments by Arizona fans in the article, it looks like we're getting a great coach and a great recruiter.  Gotta love that Embree is also bringing in coaches who have experience playing against teams in the Pac-10/12...

It's always good to screw anyone in the Stoops family.  Definitely looking forward to more news on the coaching front.  GO BUFFS!

The Ralphie Report I'm trying to stay positive...

...and I know landing a top-rated recruit sometimes means nothing (Darrell Scott), but it's still pretty saddening not to see Colorado ANYWHERE on this list.  We're not even in contention for some of these guys.  Granted, I'm sure some of the incoming players will exceed expectations, but I hope our AD can see that this is not how you build a program.  Although I'm not holding my breath.
