Nice job, Stan.
From the Tyrus Blog: 'Follow Him' on Twitter
I admire the effort, but I don't think people are gonna be riding around dt-Chicago looking for him.
Derrick Rose Gives Himself a 'B'
Do you need to get better defensively?
"Do I! That's the area I'm going to work hardest at this off-season. I'm going to watch a bunch of film and just try to get better."

Bulls Get Good News: Deng and Tim Thomas X-rays Negative
Warning: Title could be misleading.
Larry Hughes + headaches for the (rip-off) price of one.
Sam Smith on Stoudemire
"I'm looking for Hughes and Nocioni to be traded this week."
Does he know something nobody else does?
It seems that this may be the deal that gets it done from Phoenix's point of view, but Bulls sources said neither Bulls' GM John Paxson or Vinny Del Negro have agreed that this deal works for the Bulls.
Nets Make Offer for Stoudemire
At least they make a public effort...

Report: OKC Team Named "Thunder"
NEW YORK (SI.com) -- An Oklahoma City media outlet, KOCO-TV, has reported the city's relocated NBA team will be named the Oklahoma City Thunder for the 2008-09 season.
"Thunder," huh? I don't like it either. Sounds like a minor-league baseball team. On the other hand, looks like OK residents are supportive of their new team; Reportedly, there are already about 16,000 season ticket requests. According to the KOCO website, it was down to possible team names of: Barons, Outlaws, and Thunder.

Simmons v. Ford: The Great Draft Debate of '08
So Bill Simmons and Chad Ford are at it again (to see last year's debate, click here.). They start off the debate with whom they think will go #1 (both are Rose, btw), which brings them to recollect their Durant/Oden #1 pick from last year and start babbling on and on about, philosophically, why they would choose Durant/Oden and Rose/Beasley.
Here's a small excerpt from The Great Debate:
Simmons:
"I backed Durant for three reasons: I thought he had a chance to become a truly dominant offensive player; I thought Oden was too nice of a guy; and I thought Oden was headed for a career of health problems."
Ford:
Given your reasoning on Durant ... shouldn't Beasley be the No. 1 pick? He's the "truly dominant offensive player," while Rose is the "nice guy." And neither player has a history of injuries. Shouldn't Beasley be the guy, given that thinking?
Simmons:
I disagree -- Rose has a chance to be a dominant player on both ends, whereas Beasley would only be dominant on one end.
Eh, it's not that great, but i couldn't copy/paste the whole argument here... Well I think it's worth reading, watching these two say really bizarre things:
Simmons:
Hey Chad, Tell Me How My A-- Tastes.
Ford:
That is the sickest thing I've ever read. I can't believe you wrote that. And by the way, like candy.
ok.... a bit too much info.
