Hey guys, I'm participating in a mock draft over at Stampede Blue; the SB Nation blog for the Indianapolis Colts, and I've elected to draft for your Seattle Seahawks. I just wanted to drop a line and get a feel for what some Seahawks fans were thinking about the draft. Any advice on who you are high on, what you think the team needs, or what you actually think the Seahawks will do, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys, and I look forward to hearing what you have to say.

According to NFL.com, Marvin has asked to be released from the Colts. While it is hard for me to tell a player not to go out and look for all the money he thinks he deserves, I think Marvin might be making a mistake here. The Colts have been very generous with Marvin over the years (evidenced by the fact that Marvin's cap hit this year will be the most among WRs). Next man up.

Colts use 37 (!!!) starters en route to 11 victories

Good article by ESPN AFC South Blogger Paul Kaharsky this morning. The Colts are among only three teams in the league to use more than 35 different starters and still win double digit games. The Dolphins and Pats have used 39 and 46 starters respectively, to each earn records of 10-5.

If that's not good coaching, I don't know what is (although I'm sure having #18 behind center can't hurt either).

While we can all argue the utter uselessness of Power Rankings, I was surprised to see that AOL's FanHouse has the Pacers atop their Power Rankings after last nights buzzer-beating win against the Lakers. Admittedly, they say it is more of an emotional ranking than anything else, but it was still an interesting read. Although, with a win against Boston tonight it would be hard to put anyone else at the top! Link

I'm sure most of you have seen this already, but Will Leitch of Deadspin was on Bob Costas' HBO show last night with "journalist" Buzz Bissinger, debating the merits of blogs. Bissinger launches into an unprovoked, profanity-laced tirade about how blogs are "dumbing down" society. Pretty brutal stuff, regardless of whether or not you're a Deadspin fan.

I know this has no real relevance to the Colts, but as a member of a blogging community, I was shocked at Bissinger's ignorance of blogs in general.
