Why is Danny Granger embarrassing himself?

I am by no means a Miami or Lebron fan, but Granger is always trying to pick a fight with James. In tonites game I saw Granger pull James shirt and then like a fool getting in his face, to me it just looks like the guy is mad cause is just average. Garnett has earned the right to pick on players, But Granger? what do you guys think.

+James can op out of his contract in 2 more years, if Danny Ainge plays his cards right and gets lots of talent here maybe Bron can wear green in the future. You hate him, but tell me you wouldn't want him here?

How do you see the draft unfolding for the C's?

I haven't watched ST. Bonnaventure more than 2 or 3 times, but in the those couple games I liked what I saw from Andrew Nicholson, he is a straight scorer, he is 6'9 but is very long. The important factor is that he would compliment Rondo with his shooting, in addition to the points in the paint which he is very capable. One thing clear about Rondo to keep him at a all star level he needs to be surrounded by shooters.

Who watched first take on ESPN today?

I was blown away watching First Take on ESPN today, it featured Skip (as always), Stephen A Smith, Jalen Rose, and NFL commentator Chris Carter. The subject was about Sports analyst going too far in their criticism of pro athletes.

Stephan A, Skip, and the Host are all very skilled orators and debaters, Jalen sort of took the awkward angle on the subject and just got pummeled. Apparently Jalen did not do his homework and called Skip a liar, and it got personal quick. Stephan and skip are quick witted so I almost felt sorry for Jalen.

A star in the mid first round.

During the college basketball season I try to keep an eye out for guys that show promise.

The one guy who is overlooked is Tony Wroten, The 6'5 PG from Washington. He is a freshman, shows tremendous court vision, very unselfish, Flashy passer like Ricky Rubio, nightmare on defense, elite athlete. Can shoot, drive. He is a guy that can avg 10 assist a game in the next level.

He will need to develop, but can develop into a star player his potential is unreal. I have no doubt he will be a all star one day.

If he is there when the C's pick, he seems like a Celtics type player. I believe he will rise quick though, he should be the 1st PG picked in the draft.

What would you guys think about drafting this kid?

Celtics, Wolves, Lakers trade.

I was playing with that NBA trade machine thing (Which is pretty fun BTW, I have no social life, don't try to change me) lol.

And I found a trade that worked numbers wise, that went something like this

Wolves send: Derrick Williams, Wes Johnson, to Boston

Wolves send: Brad Miller exception to LA.

Lakers send: Pau Gasol to the Wolves.

Boston send: Rondo to the Lakers.

What do you guys think about this trade?

Danny Ainge Is one of the best GMs in the League!

I hate that in every comment I read on this and other Celtics blogs, there is Ainge Bashing.

There was a Forbes Ranking a while ago where GMs ranked their peers and Ainge was among the top of the NBA.

We were all spoiled for the last few years by having a NBA powerhouse of a team ( That Ainge Built)

What did you think was going to happen to the Big 3? they were going to grown younger? Guys get old. Continuity is the key to building a strong organization (Spurs, Lakers, Dallas, Celtics) we have a good ownership group, a Great GM, and a proven coach. Ainge has also been above avg drafting talent, When things get ugly resist the urge to start the "fire Ainge" Post or for that matter the "fire Doc" post.

Let me know what you guy think about the subject.

Ohh if you don't think he's among the best name 5 GMs better than him, In all phases of the position.

Doc Created New System?

Why is everyone overlooking what Doc said before the lockout ended:

" We've created a system all summer - the coaches have - and We're going to try to go out and get the players to fit the system"

Are we about to see a whole new look Celtics, I've been reading for years that Danny favors more of a Run "n" Gun style of Basketball, I don't believe that's what they will do, but you Doc's words do carry some weight.

Another interesting fact is that the Celtics got 3 new Bigs that happen to be extremely athletic in Wilcox, Bass, Johnson.

Unlike what we fans think, most GMs don't just go out and Sign the flashiest players but they look at what skills they bring to the system that has been already instituted and personality wise how they mesh with the rest of the team.

Why is no one talking about Aaron Gray?

The Kid is like 7'2, strong, in his zone he is a good rebounder and defender.

He has better hands than Perk did, and looks better posting up than Perk, With Rondo feeding him the ball Gray can Avg 10/8 as a starter.

The other guy I would not overlook is Joel P, he is another 7 footer that can defend.

My guess is that the C's spend the full 3M MLE On a Center since we don't Have one (JO is not a starting C cause he never plays)

if our options at Center are Chuck hayes, Reggie Evans, we are in trouble.
