It's true: There are Gridiron Gods. . .

. . .and they like us!  They really like us!

I had us losing two of our last four games, but we are blessed, and I will be wrong. Big time, because we will own A&M by at least three TDs.  I will be wrong, but it took divine intervention to do it because with the combined Nebraska and Okla. State games, I came within about 2:32 of being right on!  Now TT upends OU, Okla. We should have nothing but atmospheric pride for the way the Good Guys have fought back or hung on to win lately.  Look at what some of those teams have done post-UT: Nebraska piles up 73 points and TT knocks off #3.  O-State is due for a taste of nervana and the recipient of their deux ex machina may be OU. Which puts you-know-who, you-know-where.  And here I am thinking that might not be the best sequence of events for the Orangebloods.

Since then we have lost possible cutting edge players to grades, lack of playing time, "weed," and burglerizing cars.  We've also lost three of the top four state-ranked  (We got #3!), as well as four of the top five nationally ranked (We got #22!), recruits to OU.

So how does the school's biggest rival come into our own playground and walk off with our toys?
