What Jerry REALLY bought for $1.1 Billion...

Great article at another site about what Jerry's getting for his money...haven't seen anyone else point it out.

Wow. Take a look at that picture. I mean, can you imagine how big that thing is in a real life look? It is huge.

It isn’t a surprise that Jerry Jones had to shake the change from his pockets to build this baby. It should be called the 8th wonder of the world. He spent over a billion dollars on this magnificent stadium.

But why?

Why did Jerry Jones spend so much money to replace a stadium that wasn’t near ‘condemned’ level?

Well, you could say many things. It depends on how you see Jerry Jones really.

One could say that Jerry Jones is a monstrosity of the NFL because he fired Tom Landry and took over the Dallas Cowboys. One could also say that he realized that Tom needed to retire because he just had made a 3-13 season.

One could say that Jerry Jones built this stadium to show off his money, and a shrink might say as a substitute for his masculinity. The other side would argue that Texas Stadium was getting old, and Jerry Jones wanted to make a stadium worthy of arguably. the greatest NFL franchise of all time.

Romo plays Torrey Pines with contest winner & other celebs...

Can Tony Romo (scratch), Justin Timberlake (3), or Matt Lauer (6) break 100 at Torrey Pines?

Tiger Woods laid down the gauntlet, saying "If you're a 10-handicapper, there is no way you're breaking 100 out there. If you played all out on every shot, there is no way.
You just have to be so patient and on top of that you've got to be strong coming out of the rough and you've got to have unbelievable touch on the greens. Most 10-handicappers I know don't have that."

Well, Tony Romo (scratch), Justin Timberlake (3), and Matt Lauer (6) will get their chance (along with a 10 handicapper)at Torrey Pines, with the U.S. Open setup.

Open Letter to My 'Boys

I wish I had a happier occasion to post my first diary; however therapy is too expensive, I love my kids too much to beat them and I need to do something with the rest of the night.  Forgive the rambling nature and sloppy editing. This is a first and only draft and it's hard to see the keys what with all the tears and stuff.
