Question regarding hire

How do you think the potential hire will affect Maryland athletics? Obviously it will greatly impact our basketball program, but I'm curious to see how you guys think it could impact other sports.
For instance, if we hire a sexy pick (Wright or Miller,) does that take away the luster of Edsall's program? If we don't hire the sexy pick, do we start calling ourselves a "football school" for a year or two, maybe longer?
Can Maryland handle having programs coexist like some schools? There's a shot we could be like a Texas, OSU, or Florida, and have 2 quality mens programs together. It's interesting to see how the dynamic of Maryland has changed after today, because the face of the school is no longer going to be in the limelight.

Today I was listening to yesterday's podcast of The Sports Junkies on 106.7 and their interview with Gary. At the very end of the interview a show host told him his excitement of TRoss and Parker, and Gary responded with, "One guy's going to be top 20." He wouldn't clarify whether or not that was directed to TRoss or Parker, or whether it was one of the Big 3 PFs.
What do you guys think? Did he tell us indirectly about a commit?
Powe, Cavs agree on 2 year deal
Is it just me or does Cleveland seem desperate with all their off season signings of bench players? Do you think all these veteran players will impact them in a good way, or just expose their age?
Wilcox still an option?
He was just signed by Detriot for a 2 year 6 million contract. Does that mean he's basically not an option, or do you think we would trade for him?
