Boog1stdown

Huge called 1st down in 4th quarter for *uburn. How does *uburn explain this? I'm biased, fanatical, irrational, whatever....but something is going on down there that stinks and it's not just the cow manure.

Gobbler Country Good Game; VT fans showed much class

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed the game for reasons other than my team winning. The VTech fans were a classy bunch and it's not often I can say that about another team's fans. For one, they showed up in droves and really blew me away with the passion they had for their team. From what I could tell Hokie fans were the louder of the two as well. You have a fantastic program, a classy fanbase and a legendary coach. I wish all of you the best. Honestly I think you will win the ACC (again) and play in a BCS bowl (again).

I'm a sore loser and to see the way you acted after a hard fought game made an impact. I will be pulling for you guys, for what it's worth.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Roll 'Bama Roll Rolando McClain at TE...

A few years ago there was a rumor going around here in Decatur that when Nick Saban first met with Rolando McClain that he told "Boo" (as he's known here) that he wanted him to play at TE, not LB. Can you imagine that? Of course somebody with that much raw athletic ability can pretty much be effective anywhere you put him on the field, but I have a hard time seeing him be more effective at any position than LB.

For potential, and now guaranteed 1st round picks, it would not be smart to play anywhere other than where scouts think you should play, but it sure would have been cool to see him line up with the offense a time or two. Can you imagine a DB or small linebacker trying to guard him? He's got great hands going back to his B'Ball days.

When he was in HS at "D-High" he also played basketball. The team included: Rico Pickett, Rolando, Sam Burnthall, Jeraud Powers, and others. They eventually lost "Boo's" senior year in the state finals to Andrew Steele and John Carrol High School. Still, it was their worst game of the year and they still almost beat the state champs. We are going to miss this guy next year. Only way he comes back is an injury and I pray he doesn't have one. Just like Andre, more power to him, thanks for the 3 years and good luck in the NFL.

Also, speaking of 2 way players, I cannot friggin' wait to see big 62 in the jumbo package. He gets the whole stadium rockin' and with that kind of momentum, you can't stop us.....!!!
