Arods Trainer caught on Camera, and it is funny.
I find this absolutely hilarious and just thought I would share. I think I need a certain amount of words so follow them to the link. I lift things up and put them down. www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-cpojkILO0&feature=related
AHA HAHAHA HAHAHA. I am easily amused, kind of like a child. Words Words Words Words and more words are sure to confuse me. And only eight more to go, almost there. Let the stupid begin.
Why Do The Yankees Not Fire Girardi For His Stupidity?
OK so here's the deal, the title is totally bogus bullsh7t used to get you guys to read my post. While sometimes I totally disagree with some of you and call you bad names you are Yankee fans and that makes us all by far the smartest people on earth. So with that said I have a problem, and when I have a problem I ask smart people for help. For instance I would not go to Over The Monster should I need to learn how to tie a necktie. Why you may ask?Well because I do not want to end up with a noose around my neck because I listened to a bunch that rode the short bus to school everyday.I really do not mean that by the way, they have some very intelligent, good, and honest baseball fans there every now and again. Here is my problem,my MLB Baseball Extra Innings package auto renews every year at a grandfathered in price since I have had it forever. It is a very good price compared to what everyone else pays, and up until last year I even got New York local CBS,NBC,etc.. until they made it mandatory to have local big network providers.I now live in(and get ready to laugh)South Dakota so my wife can be near her family. That means Minnesota and Denver locals,BOOOOO.Next month I go to the Police Academy for 29 weeks for intensive training that most cannot do, or would even be considered for so I'm going. This means gone all week with no TV,I can hear your discomfort with that statement from here.Home Thursday night and back to facility on Sunday night.Do I keep my MLB package to save money in the future or let it go to save money now and try the computer thing?I save roughly $50 a year with my discounted price. That means if I keep it in 3-4 years I already save a whole years payment and so on and so on.If I let it go in 3 years I pay an extra years worth Vs. the old program.Sounds pretty cut and dry doesn't it?I would be an idiot not to keep it.Not entirely true however, what I need to know is how well does the computer feed work and how many games are blacked out because of that stupid FOX Sat. game garbage and anything else they do with the computer package.Since I have never used it and can't believe anything some companies say I do not know if I'm going to pay $80 to get say 100 games because there out of market,on Sat. afternoon or not carried because it's not a YES game.I can't stand most teams announcers at all and have to turn off the volume when that idiot from the White Sox is on,what a dumb redneck with even worse catch phrases,HE GONE,why doesn't the guy just admit he is so unoriginal that he has to resort to baby talk and things that drunk trailer trash think are cool?I need information on what's out there and what to expect for the money.I really need to save some money in case McDaniel is rite about GGBG and I have to get him that hooker I promised.I found a good one but to do the things she will do is going to cost me.Please help if you can.Sorry for typeos and run on sentences, I'm not checking it.
Gaudin given away
I have not done this in a while so be easy on me.Someone explain why we just released Gaudin for nothing rather then working a trade. He will get 725,410 in termination pay instead of the amount agreed upon to avoid arbitration. The guy is only 27 and could be a decent #4 starter in the pitcher friendly National League for some team in need of cheap starters which happens to be everyone. The only thing that I can think of is they want the salary space for a player down the road to join the team.Anybody know if he was hurt and couldn't pass a physical? He didn't look any worse then most in spring training with his tool set. I bet the Mitre haters are stunned and throwing there pigtail holders right about now.You all probably know i'm not Girardi's biggest fan but this was not his call.He said he wished they could just send him down until needed but his salary and status does not allow it.In more news the Ho Park is starting to look pretty good and I can't wait until they use it for real.
Could you imagine?
The Yankees have been rumored to want to try and match any final offer for Wang. This is alot of what if but, what if he resigns and when he returns is effective again.Wang was a very good pitcher when healthy,he won alot of games and had success in the playoffs when not playing the Indians.Last yr he was slated as #2 behind CC to begin the yr but alas was not fully healthy.God damn pitcher hits BS anyhow. We already have a competition for the #5 spot going in but as we all know pitchers will get hurt, get dead arms,or just scuffle from time to time.He could come at just the right time and I am hoping and praying that he does come back.I saw signs from him before he finally shut it down for good again last yr.Could you imagine if he comes back and is the Wanger of old?CC,Wang,Aj,Andy,Javy or one of the kids if someone is hurt.I know they should both get the opportunity to start but damn what a pen that would be, and one would get a first half shot at least.
You then could possibly not have to spend in next yrs pitching market,he replaces Javy or if Pettite retires, and walla kids back in 1 yr more seasoned. What do you think? Is it in the cards or did the trade end any chance? You never have enough pitching and he has been good for us when no one else was,and I hope Cash remembers that.
Cubs have anything the Yankees want for Melky Gardner?
According to sources at fox sports Ken Rosenthal says, Marlon Byrd and Scott Podsednikare the strongest Cubs options on the open market. However, the duo writes that GM Jim Hendry may also look into striking a deal with the Yankees for Brett Gardner or Melky Cabreraif they become available. What do the cubs have that might accommodate us losing good bench help? Please do not throw out Zambrano and Soriano I would like to know the real possibilities.Sorianos contract is garbage and no one in there right mind wants it.Maybe Cashman will go the trade route the rest of the way?Just no Lowe from the braves deals please.
Washburn?
Do not forget that for the last 2 yrs the Yanks have tried to get this guy via trade.I think there are better options right now but do not sleep on him.For some reason they like him.I think Joba and Hughes have the potential to be better but would it be the end of the world if he was #5 assuming he is healthy?Or do you think Gaudin\Mitre are just as effective.I do not know what to think, but something tells me Cashman will look at this scenario being he has done it 2 yrs in a row now.Cheap, short deal, instead of multi yr for NL beneficiaries Marquis and Pineiro,or my wish Sheets.Thinking about it kinda makes me twitch.
I for one like Cashmans moves
Listen,Boston signing Lackey Makes them a little better, but replacing Bay with Cameron did nothing for there already ailing offense. But the Lackey deal probably takes them out of the mix for the real crop of #1 hurlers next yr.And if Beckett decides he wants to go to free agency instead of reup they probably can't bring him back either. So look at it this way.The Halladay deal takes him off the market with an extension from the Phils, but puts Cliff Lee on the market for sure. The Phils could not get him to sign because,as Lee has publicly said he wants to go to free agency to get paid. With Lee,Webb, and possibly Beckett out there Boston basically chose Lackey over two maybe three of these guys for a ridiculous amount of money and yrs. They will regret it mark my words. And in my opinion did not make themselves the favorite for anything even if the Yanks do nothing else.So my question is would you trade lackey for Lee or Beckett,or Webb if he returns to form.I know its not guaranteed that any of them sign with the Yanks but I like there chances.Boston just wet the bed in my opinion to get a pitcher 1 yr before the real prize.
If #27 Happens and Matsui is let go?
Will he be considered one of the all time beloved Yankees?I can't help but remember how good a #5 hitter and solid left fielder this guy was before that fateful night he broke his wrist against the sox.I remember a very classy guy apologizing to the fans and organization for getting hurt, then rehabbing very hard to get back only to suffer one injury after another. The guy has a huge part in the cult we all belong to named the YES network ,bringing in another countries fans and money to the Bronx. Then for perhaps what might be his final act?playing on essentially two broken legs the guy has a tremendous year.Unfortunately, if he leaves with no ring he will probably be forgotten. But if the Yanks win #27 to restore them back to the team of the decade does Matsui go down as one of the beloved?Ala Oneil, Tino,Brosius,Luis Soho etc...You know guys who will not be in monument park, but guys we will never forget.
Post season pitching Red Sox#1?
Jayson Stark an Espn baseball writer recently ranked the top 5 postseason pitching staffs
in this order 1 Boston 2 St Louis 3 Philadelphia4 Yankees 5 Anaheim Angels. He has Bostons staff lining up like this #1 Jon Lester, who some foolish scout told him was " the best left handed pitcher in the American league and a guy who has been so dominating for so long now the Sox are leaning toward starting him over Beckett'.Beckett is # 2,Bucholtz #3 and then Dice k #4.I totally disagree with Bostons staff being Ranked #1 at this point.Dice k throws 6 innings and he is back to dominant again?Beckett has lost all feel and control of his breaking stuff hence the pounding he has been taking recently.Lester is very good but I'm not going to go as far as #1 lefty in the AL and just around the time the Yanks were pounding Boston last they were ready to give up on Bucholtz.I would like to know who the people think has the best playoff rotation? One smart thing was said in this column.Sox,Tigers/Twins, and Angel fans take note.Sabbathia whose 8.53 postseason ERA is a stat most people in the game don't take seriously. The last 2 yrs he was worn completely down by the time he got there by Cleveland in 07 and the Brewers last season.I for one do not take his ERA seriously either,I watched what the Brewers did with him last yr all the while hoping he would sign with New York, and teams better watch out if he goes on short rest in a clinching game because he has some gas left this time around.Very curious to see who you think has the best pitching and whether or not you think Lester is the best Lefty.Sorry for any type o's and punctuation but i'm in a hurry. This column just really rubbed me the wrong way and I want some feedback.
