I'm tired of your negative crap. I know we bleed when the team bleeds and are in the clouds when the team is playing well.

Try something else for a change. Instead of pissing and moaning, complaining and crying. Offer the team some uplifting words.

You don't think everyone else realizes when we are playing bad? We really don't need 10 people saying how crappy we are playing. WE REALIZE THIS. Stop acting like a bunch of NY fans and stand by your team when times are tough as opposed to kicking them in the teeth when they are down.

This was a tough loss, we don't need to listen to you cry about it and making it any tougher than it already is. We the Dolphins win, WE WIN. Some of you people are sure as hell willing to bask in the glory of a tough earned victory but want to jump ship when it's going tough.

WE ARE A REBUILDING TEAM. Sure, we are much better than most rebuilding teams but keep this in perspective. You don't think that the trifecta realizes we need better LB's, S, and WR's? They know it, but they are building a team the correct way. Which is through the draft.

Chill out and look forward to the butt whoopin we are going to lay on the Pat's next week.

There seems to be post, after post about acquiring some big name WR. One side says it's worth it and then the other side says the Trifecta will not pay the price recquired to get a true #1 receiver.

My solution? Look no further than GB. They have Donald Drive and Greg Jennings, who aren't going anywhere. Then they drafted Jordy Nelson with a 2nd round pick......so that leaves the 4th man as James Jones.

This guy is a stud and would compliment Ted Ginn IMO. He's a legit 6'1 (he looks bigger to me) and is 210 LBS.

He likely wouldn't cost a high draft pick and can be very serviceable IMO.

Patrick Turner-With him being from USC, I have gotten to see him fall mightly to my beloved Oregon State Beavers quite a few times. This guy has Plaxico Burress written all over him, just without the bullethole in his leg. They are both HUGE for the receiver position and were top notch in their field of play in terms of endzone production. This pick is one of the most exciting to me and has the potential to pay off the most.

Guns & Ammo- Get them why you can. I don't know about the eastcoast, but you cannnot find either over here. I know people in Washington and California that are having the same shortage problems like I am. Guns that were selling for 300-400 are now selling for 900+. Ammunition is anywhere from 3-5x more expensive per round.....I repeat GET IT NOW!

Miami Dolphins- All I know is that I'm f'n pumped with the way the draft played out. We needed a corner, we got two. We need a big receiver, we got two. We needed a lighting bolt and we got Pat White. We are going to take the whole "kickin ass and takin' names" saying to a whole new level; The 2009 Miami Dolphins are going to run a train on Gisele's ass while Tom Brady is laying in the fetal position, clutching his surgically repaired knee yelling "don't sack me Mr.Porter, you already took my lunch money and banged my wife".

I got an e-mail from the Blazers stating that they were releasing a limited amount of tickets at 10am today. I got 4 tickets and my friend got 2, was anyone else successful?

The Bills "pro bowl" LT Jason Peters has been traded to the Eagles for 2009 1st/4th this season and a 2010 6th rounder.

Peters has to sign a new contract in Philly for this to go through.

I guess I am kind of happy he is leaving. He gives up a ginormous amount of sacks (led the league in sacks allowed I believe) but he is still pretty solid despite his lapses.

This will give Buffalo an extra 1st rounder, which wil likely be used to fill the LT void.

As of 6:30 EST, the Coast Guard has supended their search for Corey Smith, Marquis Cooper, and Nick Schuyler. This is something no one wants to see happen. It's a true tragedy and its horrible to see people that are so young with such promising lives ahead of them, have their lives ended shortly.

While none of them have been found dead, the likelihood of them being alive is quite slim. Hopefully this horrible situation will turn into a miracle but when/if that miracle happens I would just like everyone to offer their prayers and condolences to the family, friends, and anyone who is suffering through this ordeal.

While I have never focused on any of the players, I give them accolades for all of their hard work and accomplishments and for providing the world with the oppurtunity to watch them week in and week out, doing something they enjoy.

With the Grove signing, I believe that the rest of the capspace will be spent on depth so we can concentrate on positions other than in the trenches. What positions need upgrades? What positions need depth? What positions do we want upgrade, but aren't a need? We shall discuss below.

Offensive Guard- Smiley and Thomas are almost certain to be the starters. Thomas stole the RG position in training camp last season, only get be placed on IR while Smiley played well at LG until his broken leg.

With newly signed Jake Groves, Satele looks to be the back-up G at both positions with the depth chart being rounded out by Alleman, Ndukwe, and Shawn Murphy.

Offensive Tackle- We have our 2 bookends, Long and Carey locked up long term. Neither will be bumped out of their starting roles unless an injury occurs.

Garner, Frye, and Ndukwe would fill in if nessecary, but none are capable starts. Depth at Tackle is a must.

Center- With Grove likely taking over as the starting center, Satele will be one of the best back-up Centers in the leauge. If Groves is worth his 5 year contract to Parcells, there is no reason to add any more centers, especially with Alleman able to do third string C if nessecary.

Quarterback- Pennington will likely return for us at QB while keeping Henne under his wing for one more season. We have the trifecta's hand picked starter and future starter in the mix. John Beck is a capable 3rd man off the bench.

Runningback- Ronnie Brown, Patrick Cobbs, and Ricky Williams will more than hold down the fort for us. We have a mix of young and old, no reason to add anymore to it. Take into account that Parcells has found a very good FB in Polite and  Casey Cramer to back him up, no additions are needed to this unit. We also have Parmele and Hilliard on our practice squad, waiting to be called up.

Wide Receiver-This is probably one of our most debated positions. We have Ginn, Camarillo, Bess, London, and Wilford. Depending on how you think Ginn will turn out will determine if we need to go out and get that clear cut WR. I don't think he has to be a Housh, Crabtree, Fitzgerald type player, because I believe Ginn will be our #1 option. We do need though what we expected to get out of Wilford. A big, stout, and reliable option to pair with Ginn.

Tight End- Lets just say that Fasano and Martin were both pleasent surprises last year. Fasano has the looks to be a legit #1 tightend, while Martin could have started on quite a few teams last year. Mix in 6'7 Joey Haynos, we have an extremely solid group of TE's.

Overall we only truly need upgrade 1 position's starters and that is WR.

We need to add depth to 1 position, which is Offensive tackle. Possibly 2 depending on what positions some players end up at. The depth charts go off of my own projected depth charts.

Today was horrible, well for me atleast.

Nnamdi got a 3yr/45 million dollar deal.....and it wasn't from us. I'm happy for him because he seems like a great guy, but why couldn't he just sign with us for like 2-3 million dollars a year? Living in Miami instead of Oakland is worth a 12 million dollar paycut isn't it?

    Well first and foremost, hello. While I am a Blazer fan and I frequent the Phinsider blog and chat with Dave and Nicky quite a bit. I thought it would be neat to do a comparison of Roy/Wade. The reason I decided to post it on here is because I already know what the view is from my side of the fence and I would like to get the view from the other side.

   Obivously I would prefer Roy to Wade (Blazer homer) but reality tells me that their is a  talent gap between Wade and Roy, I want to know how big you view that gap to be.

First and foremost I've always been in love with the NYY and my mom has school journals from when I was in kindergarden saying that I want to play for them, I have been a loyal and avid fan since I was young.

I'm also a person that believes cheating is one of the worst things to do. I beleive people deserve what they work for plain and simple as that.

My problem lies here. In the last year there has been 3 major NYY's that have admitted to or been linked to steroid use, Alex Rodriguez, Roger Clemens, and Andy Pettie. With Steinbrenner being Steinbrenner, I could actually see him signing a guy knowing about his use and this rubs me the wrong way. Pettite wasn't reprimanded by the Yankees, infact they resigned him and I believe that A-Rod won't receive any either (considering he was a Ranger when it happened).

I am a fan of sports 1st and a fan of teams 2nd. I really want to find another team to root for because what is going on in NY goes completely against what I stand for in a person, but I feel like a fairweather Pats fan for wanting to change my loyalties.

What is your opinion on the situation?

I don't know if this warrants a fanpost or if it should be a fanshot. Haven't spent enough time here to know but I figured everyone would be interested. There are only 2 teams with 2 players (for the rookie team) and that is the Blazers with Oden/Fernandez and the Grizzlies with Mayo/Gasol. This will be a fun game to watch and one I can see the rookies winning......

You came onto our board and gave a valiant effort in trying to convice us that we should be scared of you. You can't scare our team on the field so are you trying to make up for that by trying to scare fans on the internet?

1) Yes we hadn't beat you for quite some time, but we are beating you now and I believe we went into your house and beat you to get into the play-offs, I glady take that over any other win you have had against us in the span you reference.

2) You think it bugs us that we had to use the wildcat? Why should it? It just shows that our coaches are innovative and know how to play to the best of our players abilities. What did mangina do?

3) You can say we had an easy schedule, but we still beat you some pretty dang good teams too. Now that the play-offs are almost done, your schedule wasn't too daunting either.

4) Yeah a blueprint, that is why the NYJ had 16 games worth of tape and still didn't stop us. We will see how Ryan does without Reed, Lewis, Ngata, Scott, and Suggs. Don't even try and compare any of your players to those guys, because you would immediately FAIL. But then again, I'm sure FAILure is a very common concept for you.

5)You can use what-ifs all you want, but the fact of the matter is that Chad hasn't missed a game with us and thats all that matters. You should feel real safe with Ratliff and Clemens.

6) I would take our back-ups to yours without hesitation.

7) Chad actually played very well from behind, but I guess playing for the Jets just takes that toll on players.

8) Go ahead and knock our "modest" defense, but it was good enough to hold your offense (which was the 9th best in scoring at 25ish ppg) to 17 at home....oh yeah did I mention it got us to the play-offs?
