First question, QB sneak on first down around the 50 yardline??? I've never seen that at any level of organized football. I don't get that at all. Second, how much of the problem with the offense is not the players, but maybe the play calling? I think we've all seen this before. Alot of people say that BQ doesn't throw long , that he checks down to often, and that may be part of the problem, But it seems to me that once DA came in, the plays called were definitely more about mid-range or deep pass plays. Now, of course we were down 20-0, so that makes some sense, but it almost seems like the coaching staff calls plays differently for each QB. Am I off in left field on this? If you don't call plays that allow BQ to throw deep, then how can he? I still don't know how BQ will ever get experience, if he doesn't get a chance to play? I am not saying he is the answer, but I still think he is an unknown. Meanwhile, DA was vintage DA yesterday. 3 picks? Like none of us saw that coming? I just was wondering what you guys think...Thanks!!!

Just wondering if anyone saw the story in the Plain Dealer about the Browns sitting on trades for #1 picks for Brady Quinn, and Braylon Edwards?? Apparently they have offers of #1's for both of these guys. I was just hoping to get your opinions about what you think the Browns should do. It's not often that a team could potentially have 3 first round picks, which I think is a good position to be in, but maybe it's not. I wanted to post this in the draft talk post, but I couldn't find it, so here it is.

I think that Maualuga should be our pick at 5. Granted I watched a lot of USC football living in Los Angeles, and I know everyone says we need an edge rushing  OLB, but I just think that Rey is the perfect fit next to D'Qwell on the inside. Quick, hits like a hammer, and has played in a pro style defense for awhile. I guess even if we could trade down, to around 10 he should still be available, but personally I would have no problem taking him at 5. Comments please!

I think we should look at Jason Taylor? Thoughts? Pros? Cons? I think he could help our outside pass rush. Also, what about Kalif Barnes at right tackle? What about Byron Leftwich for some QB competition? CB's Dre Bly or Shawn Springs? Safeties, Jermaine Phillips, Michael Boulware? LB's Napolen Harris, Clark Haggans, Cato June? These obviously don't seem like top tier free agents, so why not give these fellas a look? We could...err....have done worse. Thoughts on this?
