Korea in the World Baseball Classic finals after defeating Venezuela 10-2. Ideally, a win in the finals would earn Choo an exemption from military service. The WBC finals are on Monday. So temporarily, "Let's go Korea"!

I couldn't find a permalink to this video, so hopefully MLB won't change the link anytime soon.

While Sheffield got the business end of Fausto's fist, it looks like Fausto gets the business end of MLB's suspension.

Carmona gets six games, and Victor and Asdrubal get three each, while Sheffield only gets four.

It appears that Phil Hughes is due to get some Ricky Vaughn type glasses. We'll see if funny looking black framed glasses help reduce his 9.00 ERA.

In my attempt to re-find the gems (such as the holocene slaughter balls) that came with the translation of Masa's profile with the Chiba Lotte Marines, I came across another site. This time it is an Indians fan site from Taiwan (it looks like he reads Let's go Tribe as well).

It looks like its updated pretty regularly and translates reasonably well (the translated version is linked above). For instance, I learned that AAA is known as the Union and a pitcher's individual start is La Shanglai. Also, I couldn't miss the "Joe Borowski pitching the disease had not". Looks like JoBo was fine all along.

Regardless, it's good to see that the Indians have fans all around the world. Forget the Red Sox Nation, I prefer the Cleveland Indians Global Domination.
