This has been tough year for Terp Nation. Through it all though I feel like we can see the sun through the clouds. As a misplaced UMD fan ( I live in Hampton Roads ) I constantly encounter fans of other schools. I tend to respect all fan bases except for the plastic UK, Duke, UNC fans that are out there. I just feel that no one matches the love we have for our Terps.

So I am wondering to what extent have you gone to defend Terp Nation from some know nothing fan from another fan base?

I have been bouncing this around my friends and they have had the same question.  Why is it that the NFL lockout got so much press and the looming NBA lockout seems to be in the background.  For example we knew how the far apart the NFL owners and players were before the play-offs even started.  Exact dollar amounts even.  With the NBA all we get are vague issues ( i.e. Contract lengths, Teams losing money, One and done rule.....)  but nothing concrete as to what the Union and the Owners truly can't agree on.  I was hoping to use this post as an aggregator of sorts and see what other information is floating around out there.

Milner wants out.

So Milner has yet to report back to Bodymoor Heath but all words now point to him asking out to Join City when he does.  Honestly I am gutted at the idea of losing Milner not because its him but I just see my team stuck in this cycle of losing there best players to the teams who can afford to purchase anyone.  O'Niel is said to want 30 million for the player so I think he will go for about 25 which is a doubling of the profits so good work there.  Honestly though I am starting to lose hope in how Villa can break into the top four.

 I went to go find the old thread so I could lol at Orlando for trading for the done and dusted Vince Carter and the thread is closed.  I think there are some of us out there that still want to talk about the play offs.  So here is a sanctuary to discuss the little basketball we have left before we enter the silly season that is the run up to the NBA draft and free agency.
