LOL, did you see the video above? How high is the ceiling in his house (I guess it is)? What's that, the old castle of the fables where the giants family lives on? :-)

From day one, always believed KO is for real and that he will be a star, I believe it up to the point of preferring to keep KO developing in green ranks than packing him in a trade for somebody else.

We should be grateful that at least we got Zeller, from my part, I'm.

Next season, the team could look - and do - better than the last.

Ed, I'm still looking forward to enjoy your starting lineup coming October (pre-season). There could be many things behind/after ET signing, but also could be he's just a better option to shadow JG than an old and surgery recovering GW.
Commented on Roster Reset: How the signing of Evan Turner sets the Boston Celtics up for more trades on Jul 22 2014, 12:27p - 1 reply
Reckon that your view is way more likely to happen than my expectations, regarding JG backup. Hope your best scenario trade happens sooner than later.
Commented on Wyc Grousbeck didn't get his fireworks, has to settle for patience on Jul 21 2014, 10:37a - 1 reply
If that happens, which I won't like it at all, then I'd let Thornton/CJ/CB or anybody else other than GW, to play the SF behind JG.

+1 Liked this team last season, mainly 2nd half and playoffs. Will like it even more the next.

+5 Agree on the starting five - and even like that line-up, doesn't look bad at all in paper, barring injuries and if the current roster gets through the rest of the off-season and makes it to the pre-season start, at least.
Commented on Wyc Grousbeck didn't get his fireworks, has to settle for patience on Jul 21 2014, 8:48a - 1 reply
Since quite a while ago I stopped thinking Celtics had a chance of getting Love, so this doesn't change anything for me regarding next season Cs.
Commented on Rumor: Cavs willing to deal Wiggins, Kevin Love likely headed to Cleveland on Jul 18 2014, 9:19a
Found the discrepancies: BR doesn't list Bradley's 7.2 MM, lists JG at 9.4 MM (+0.2) and MS at 3.3 MM (+0.1). Thus: 71.8 + 7.2 - 0.2 - 0.1 = 78.7 MM.

Off topic, but not too far. Pressey contract is guaranteed (I feel good for him, he earned it), but not word yet about CJ and CB.

Neither. What does the team earn by signing ET to cheap short term? Nothing. Won't turn the team in a contender, and will eat PT needed for other young players.

Wouldn't take none of them, except Monroe, and that from a perspective of stashing young promising talent for some future harvesting, not thinking as it were to make us contenders next season.

Commented on Wait till next year? The Celtics could have lots of cap room in 2015 on Jul 14 2014, 10:49a
Darn, I surely am basketball illiterate, because I really missed JC in the second half of the last season, even with all his crazy stuff. Liked way more how they played at the start than at the end of it.

Me too, the guy lit it up yesterday vs Denver in his 2nd game, after having a so-so first game. Before Draft night, I wished Celtics took him.

Didn't see it coming but not shocked either, Wizards were a very likable team 2nd half of last season and they gave a good run to the Pacers. I quite rooted for them.

Am I wrong or it could mean that our Cavs 1st rnd pick (next season or 2016's, not sure) won't be a lottery pick? That isn't good for us, but neither is big damage.

Sure, and speaking of young inexperienced Centers, last night Iverson, coming from bench, looked better than in prior games.

Hope he turns that way, but don't agree for now. Have given Zeller a close look when playing against us these last two years, and I have the impression he is way more solid and mature than VF.

Finally, a 7' 250 lbs 24 yrs old Center, who also happens to be a first round pick (2012-17th). Not Gortat, not Asik, but a good promising young C nonetheless.

If I've been sure about something, even way before Celtics last season ended, is that they won't bounce back to relevance next season. It would take, at least, another year of struggling.

Perhaps they are looking at RR not only as a floor general but as a leader in whole. Given RR strong personality, that's a possibility.

Commented on Offseason Preview Series: What is the Boston Celtics' salary cap situation? on Jun 30 2014, 2:47p
+1 I think Gortat is better player now than Monroe, but unfortunately his age (30) and the Celtics status right now, don't look like a match for neither him or the team.

Celtics cap room is only 14.7 MM. Salary Cap: 63.2 MM less guaranteed contracts (10 players): 48.5 MM = 63.2 - 48.5 = 14.7

Commented on Celtics extend qualifying offer to Avery Bradley, interested in Austin Rivers on Jun 29 2014, 6:29p
Monroe is a RFA, Celtics can make him an offer directly. Detroit is expected to extend him a QO at 5.5 MM. Celtics do not have much of cap room, but can offer him quite better than that.
