Our Celtics have an uphill climb if they want to win the title. That is the obvious. No Perkins, being in LA, and coming off of a horrible game 6 performance. Saying that, if there is a team in the league that could overcome those odds, i would say it would be the Celtics. Who expected them to be in the Eastern Conference Finals much less the NBA finals. Who expected Boston to be in a game 7 against the mighty Lakers. The answer is very few and the very few that did believe are the same fans that are on this great site today. Nobody thinks we have a chance to win tomorow night and thats the most probable outcome if your just a fan of the game. As  a fan of the Boston Celtics, im confident we can win this game and the title. Yeah we dont have Kobe, homecourt or Kendrick Perkins, but we do have the Heart of a Champion right. These guys wont back down in game 7 and they wont feel bad for each other and they shouldn't. NO EXCUSES. Nobody expected us to be here and nobody expects us to win the Championship. I do and the Celtics do. Tomorow night will either be the a great night or unfortunate night. Great if we win and unfortunate if we lose the series. No matter what happens, I am proud of My Celtics. They have played their hearts out and given it all they have and if that is not good enough to win the title than it wasnt meant to be. Win or Lose I am proud of my team. I look at Game 7 as this. Nobody has expected The Boston Celtics to do well and achieve what they have achieved in these playoffs and Nobody who has expected that have  been right. No Excuses just heart in Game 7.

May the better team win, Go Celtics, Shock the World, and Celtics fans be proud of your team, they have done the best they can.

i hope i am not the only fan  who realize's this but  our bench has really  stepped it up in the playoffs and to me, their the reason we are playing so well.

Tony allen at times still makes my head hurt, but he is all effort and all sslashing and him and rondo are simply exciting together. He has truly stepped up and we need him to continue to play smart and stay healthy. Man he sure can throw it down might i add.

Big Baby Davis- Glen is making up for his lost time at the beggining of the year. He is very very clutch and he never backs down from a challenge which unless he is trying to shoot inside with defenders all around, is a very good thing. Davis just needs to control his energy and make it be a positive impact and he will continue to make plays down the stretch.

Rasheed Wallace- Wow, as rasheed turned it around or what. From no defense and no points to scoring double figures, rebounding and making plays on defense.Sheeds even defended d Howard very well. rasheed might be older but he is showing that he aint done just yet. His energy yes I said rasheed's energy is really lifting this teams play and effort. No more ragging sheed for now.

The title is for a reason, these guys have played great so far but at times have been inconsistant. Hopefully, knock on wood, they can continue their hot play and if they continue to do so, i dont see any team being more complete than us right now.

Cmon CELTICS, SHOCK THE WORLD

game 4 is hands down another must win game. Just like game two. Im in no mood to break down what happened liked the refs beating us by not giving us any calls during the first half, (maybe pierce is struggling because he gets fouled at the rim with no call twice in one play), lebron and is teamates not missing any looks even the toughh ones when we finally tried on defense, and us just starting the game in no offensive rythem with no ray or paul being productive and the bigs on the bench.

Game 4 will show if we have the heart, resisliancy (spelled wrong probably), and the talent to still posibly win the series, or it will show that we dont want it more and we dont have it in the tank.

If the Celtics arent motivated for game 4 like they werent motivated tonight then it will be series over in 5.

I was so confident heading into tonights game and now my confidence is almost completely down the drain.

Boston its time to put up or shut up, win or go home. Game 4 will show us the team we have and the team that we have had all season and the team that we will continue to have the rest of the playoffs. Will it be a team of heart, pride and character or a team that like many people say, just want to go fishing.

I am so unhappy and so unsuprised by what I just saw. Call me harsh but the way we played in the second half was horrible. rondo goes to the bench and the rest of the team just turns the lights off. Nobody, Nobody had what it took to get the job done but everybody was tryin to do it by them selves

Ray Allen needs to either step up, or get out of Boston. The one guy with the best advantage and he couldnt make that one wide open three from the top of the key to give us a 2 point lead and a big boost and couldnt make much else either. Common Ray.

Paul Pierce had the courage to shoot but for some reason didnt have the ability to make shots. jumper after jumper came out, he couldnt get anything to go at the end of the game and was a no-show after his quick start.Common Paul how about some life after the 8 minute mark of the 1st quarter.

Kevin Garnett cant make a layup on a tip in, or you serious or are you serious. Defense was great but at the end of the game, you and your team mates didnt get it done. You had a double double but you kinda wasnt to be found at the end when we needed you on defense and offense

Kendrick Perkins on defense you were pretty good on shaq and you had good energy but you cant catch that pass that idk somehow hit you in the hands at the end of the game, common man really, and you cant secure a rebound either against shaq just watching him play volleyball with himself at the end of the game

Rasheed Wallace can you please, please, please remember how to score, you cant shoot ffrom 3, you cant knock down a wide open jumper, poor old man cant score on the post. Rasheed what can you do????????????????????????? besides go in there and miss key rebounds since you lazy and foul. You have more fouls than minutes it seems and most probably more fouls than pointss. Just like i wanna tell Ray, show up or get out of Boston

Rondo and TA i thought played pretty great and I also felt the refs were kind of one sided but that is no exuse for blowing an 11 point lead halfway through the 3rd. This team is the same old story. Jump out early, lose the lead, dont get stops or scores at the end

Bottom line for me, Celtics either win game 2 or the series is over. My faith in this team is barely alive inside of me and the last straw will no doubt be if we lose Monday night. We will either win and have a shot or lose and kiss the hopes and this team goodbye. I wont say I dont think they can win just yet, but if they want to win the series and keep me optomistic, then they better win Game 2.

i dont blame kg for what he did, i see many positives that can come from this.

1) this should definatly bring these guys closer and fire them up even more

2)this gives sheed the opportunity to be a hero if he can step up and lead boston to a win

3) give bbd some more confidence if he plays well

4) I expect big games for rondo, pp, and ray

5) since miami will come into game 2 thinkin they have a win, the Celtics can possibly win this series mentally if they win this game without kevin.

6) Kg can rest up alittle more since he will have 6 days off, expect him to play with a vengance the rest of the series and hopefully playoffs

7) All the pressure is on the heat, theres no Kg, the celtics have been a good road team all season and the heat choked game one away.

Ik its alot of ifs but i think that since the playoffs are all about adversity, if Boston can overcome this type of adversity then i think it will give them great confidence for the rest of the playoffs.

I expect a win for my beloved Boston Celtics, the place will be rocking, emotions will be high and i expect these guys to go out there with something to prove. No reason the celtics cant win. Go Boston, show miami who has the real actresses.  Personaly i expect a blowout. Miami better come to play, cause I have a great feeling that the celtics will even without the big ticket.

All season fans and haters have had their ideas and opinions of the boston celtics. no body was right and no body was wrong because what really mattered was the playoff result. That result is yet to be determined. This will be my last post of the season because the rest of my attention will be on the celtics and what they do. All i want to know is all the fans opinions on how the playoffs will go for our beloved boston celtics. Just please put a comment on how you truly feel the celtics will do in the postseason. At the end of the playoffs i will come to this post and read how the fans felt their team would do when it really counted the most. All I want is the your prediction of how far the celtics will make it, the two teams in the finals,  who will win it all and the finals mvp. At the end everyone will be able to come and see if they were right and they can have proof of their prediction. The celtics beat the Cavaliers at home and people still arent happy. All kind of Cleveland execuses why we beat them

1) No shaq and verajao  (I think cleveland is worse with shaq, but it didnt help them not having anderson.) Its still a win.

2) cleveland didnt care about the outcome. So if this happened to the Celtics and they lose and we say that Boston didnt want it than all the people say that is false. Same goes for Cleveland.

Look im not happy that we blew a 22 point lead  but if you told me that the Celtics win and PP struggles (which to me he did kinda, especially the way he has been playing prior) I would take it no matter how they got it.

People look at it negative since they lost a 22 point lead but I look at it as The Celtics had a 22 point lead  which is amazing and we lost the lead only to regain it and hold on for the win. They had to gain confidence that they can hold on when they start struggling.

The Celtics hve beaten Dallas, Denver and Cleveland lately which to me is pretty good.(I know we lost alot of games to good teams , still these are good wins at the end of the season. And how bad is that Spurs lost since San Antonio beat Orlando and Cleveland, and destroyed the Lakers and even beat the Thunder.

I believe that the c's can play bbetter and still win #18 because last season they took the Magic to 7 games without KG and with the starters playing more minutes so they were tired.

The most important player for the celtics is Ray allen. He was on fire after the break and Boston beat LA and Portland. He struggled against houston and the Spurs and we lose. If ray plays good(not great, good will do) Rasheed shows up with the rest of the bench, and our players stay healthy with a bit of luck. We can definatly make it all the way this season.

Go Celtics

After watchinng my beloved celtics take the night off against the spurs sunday, i was really really really fuming at watchinng them watch the game. Acouple things really made me mad.

1)Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Resheed, the whole celtics bench was nowhere to be found. On offense they were not a factor. ray couldnt make a shot, sheed couldnt make a shot, the bench couldnt make a shot, when rondo made a shot it didnt count. I feel like this type of performance happens rarely so i will come to understand it, that time just wont be now.

2) kG what happened to your offense my friend. 8 first quarter points only to finish with what 12 points. It amazes me to see him be able to knock the ball away after the whistle blows, but not be able to jump high enough to lay the ball in. Does anybody else realize that. I still love kg and everybody has a bad game once in a while,   right"?

3) Doc Rivers you lost us the game my friend. We had a lead at the end of the 1st quarter and what do you do, idk kill the offensive rythem bby puting in 5 bbench players. Nice going coach. Also we would never find that rythem again.

4) Perkins please hurry up, we need you big fella. Sheed make a 3 if you gonna shoot 76873 a game, please. Nate make a shot please. BBD and mo daniels can you please either finish inside or pass it out. Seriously, defenders dont even jump to block you and you arent getting the whistle.

Okay, I still feel that we(they) can win a championship and personally the okc game wensday night is very important. if we would have made some shots sunday nnight then i really do feel our energy would have picked up and we would have won. As longg as this result doesnt happen again and we get back on track wensday then everything will be fine. Man I cant wait for the playoffs.

There is no doubt that this Celtics team, is the celtics team that everybody expexted to see at the start of the season. Our C's have looked very impressive lately in their 4 game win streak. but lets not have a short memory here. There is alot of season left and the playoffs are the important thing. Its all about what boston can do in the playoffs and all of the Celtics would say the same. Dont get me wrong, I am excited as ever after seeing the celtics the last week of games, but like they say, EYES ON THE PRIZE. The celtics need to stay healthy, build chemistry, and keep it rolling the rest of the season, definatly including the playoffs. I also feel that each game is important, but not crucial, in the regular season. I will say that we need to either beat Cleveland or Denver when we play them in the Garden.We cant give up again if they drop one or two winable games. All im saying is that, If were healthy, and we are intense and the bennch(exspecially sheed and dainiels) are being a positive factor in some way, there is no doubt that we can raise number 18.

The Celtics have a big four game stretch coming up that personally, is the biggest stretch of games remaining in the regular season. The Celtics have Houston, Utah, and Dallas on the road before returning home to play the Nuggets who ended the 3 game win streak the Celtics had after the All-Star break.  Our Celtics are coming off of two very impressing wins against Detroit and New York. These 4 games will show me if they have turned the corner and are starting to peek or it was just the opponent that made the wins so impressive.

I wanna know what the fans think about this 4 game stretch against chippy and physical Houston, tough Utah, flashy offensive team in Dallas, and the Nuggets.

Im hoping for 4-0 and i really feel that the c's can pull it off. If they can , they could most definatly prove that they are back in the hunt for championship banner 18

Watching the Celtics last night brought cheers to my heart and belief that the celtics can win another championship.

I understand that they were playing the banged up pistons, but it wasnt the score that made me feel that way.

The celtics showed their effort that has been missing ever since december, they were all over detroit on defense and perkins finally showed some heart, energy, and hustle. (except on that lob that rondo threw on the break)

The celtics showed some intensity that has been lacking and now the only question is:

Will the C's keep that energy the rest of the season. Doc said that injures are no longer the problem so that means that we cant say that injuries are holding them back anymore. Ik that doesn't mean that they are 100% percent but it means that they can start ggetting that chemistry back.

If the celtics come with that effort for however many games that are left in the season and postseason, the celtics can beat the leagues best and very possible raise banner 18.
