I watched the game between OKC and the MAVS since im rooting for the MAVS to win and all i can say is they really have the best bench in the league. They scored 50+ points, i dont think our bench in all 4 years of the big 3 have done that. If we had a Bench like the MAVS we'd be unstoppable. yeah sure from time to time our bench can score 20, 30 but thats on really rare occasions....So thats what Danny really needs to do..get us a starting center caliber player and solidify our Bench players bring back delonte start playing avery bradley make green the sixth man......

Lets face it AGE is the primary reason the celtics lost. yes some would say it was execution down the stretch but the reason they couldnt execute well was because of there tired legs and fatigue . thats why we lost game 2,4,5 we couldn't keep the lead in the 4th quarter. like many games we gave up a lead in the 4th quarter just like game 7 last yr so Phil Jackson was ryt, were the team who gives up leads in the 4th quarter the most. So the solution ?...we get younger we get a bench and minimize the minutes of the big 3 for next season..then in the summer of 2012 we sign some perennial players and if garnett and ray allen would sign for less money they could play as role players and help the young players with their game......

Ok before everyone bashes me, or says that this topic has been made a thousand times i agree but the points im about to make are quite rational and some might even agree.  If u agree or disagree your point of view would be much appreciated. these are my views

*Rondo is as inconsistent as can be - beginning of the season he was tearing it up against all comers driving to the hoop without any reluctance which left other players open for a wide shot, but then all of a sudden he probably got bored , or maybe he was aiming to be MVP ? then when he got injured and missed a couple of games lost the will to even try anymore and gave up. Also he tends to only really play against elite PG's although i know last week he didnt play up against derrick rose

*As Rondo goes so does this team - At first i was all for it because Rondo was excellent especially last yrs playoffs (except in the finals excluding game 2) and the year before that but once again he is just so inconsistent and u can't really rely on that. I know everyone thinks Rondo is the future well if he is then the future really looks bleak.

*Any PG would play well especially with the big 3 - I would really like to see Rondo play on a team without 3 future hall of famers and see what he could do. Like rose the only all star he has is Boozer. Chris Paul has a mediocre team. I would even say Tony Parker is better he drives to the hoop just as good can pass and actually has really improved on his jumper which is now really good

Ive been watching since game 1 of the regular season and garnett looks right now the same he did beginning of the season he's slow ..hes missing easy layups ..no defensive mentality gasol just pushed and muscled his way through granett getting offensive rebounds and putbacks ....last nyt kg got schooled by one of the softest PF's in the game ....maybe Gasol has changed or maybe it was just Kg that played a very sub par game ..i was embarrassed everytime kg would get the ball in the post he couldn't do anything against  the defense and hes passes were very bad ....against the cavs he was very good against miami he was good against orlando he looked like a role player not a star player ....and against gasol it looked like it was the very first time he played basketball ..worst game ive seen kg play even if he did get 10+ points .....i think he got injured during the magic series and hasn't told anyone i would have preferred we not made it to the finals ..then to lose like this especially to the lakers ..if celtics continue to play like yesterday this series will be a sweep and it not just Kg its also rondo who looked like the 2008 rondo probably got intimidated by kobe ..and the turnovers by the celtics looked like the old regular season celtics that nobody gave a chance ..if lakers win game 2 again in a blowout celtics dont have a chance but if the lakers win by 5points or less ..i believe the celtics could win 3straight home gains have momentum than win a game in L.A i just hope so if not lakers will have every reason to state if they had bynum 2008 would have been theres and it would have been a 3peat

Everyone is talking about how the lakers are much better than 08 with Gasol comfortable with his role now ..artest in the lineup much better than radmanovich ..and with bynum back ....but the celtics are also much different since 08 .they have new chemistry with each other playing for 3years now ...back in 08 tony allen big baby davis and rondo werent much of playoff contributors that they are now ..and now have a very good back up center in rasheed wallace big improvement from pj brown .no more posey but now have tony allen ..leon powe replaced by big baby davis that can get 20+points when plays hard .andd rasheed wallace that can spread the floor make bynum go outside the paint so rondo can just get past fisher easily. also perkins has become a top5 defender in centers maybe 2nd best behind Howard .and Rondo who has become a superstar ..only thing missing is eddie house which is why i think the trade we made for nate robinson was very bad ...eddie could get 20+points in a game also ..but this celtics team is still very good maybe better than 08 since they've already won 5road games no game 7's like in 08 ...so this finals theres is no clear favorites till game 1 happens im being a bit hasty but i believe the celtics will make it to the finals

Ok guys before you bash me and hate me i just have to tell the truth rondo is becoming an arrogant player !!! He told chris Paul that he has a ring and that paul will never get one !! come on thats just bad and after the game rondo bumps chris paul whilt hes talking to pierce !! come on thats just bad i feel worried for the celtics they just extended his contract to 5years ..Ray allen even had the decency to go to the hornets locker room and say sorry on behalf of rondo's actions ray allen is getting fed up also even pierce understand cp3 . .cant believe rondo would stoop up to that i am a die hard celtics fan since the 80's ok but im starting to dislike rondos attitude !!

He really showed he can back up ray allen rondo or pierce the guy just knows how to play cavs had no answer for him 2nd game in a row with 17points and didnt play in the 4th i think haha we'll tghats pretty good getting daniels for such a cheap price best pick up we got this summer and yes im saying he's more useful than sheed. marquis if used correctly could would and should be sixth man of the year hopefully he plays consistently . and can i just say eddie house or eddie "MANSION" is just on fire everytime he shoots u just feel its going in well really happy about the bench go celtics banner no.18

i am a bit worried about big baby davis . . not about his game but about his attitude he seems hes always angry when he gets taker off the floor . .now that he has hit a buzzer beater i worry that he wont stay with the celtics next yr because in his mind he wants to be a starter .  and its like he has grown a superstar ego . he even said that one day he could be a big star in the league  . . i for one am very worried that hes gonna become a hated player . .i hope that he knows his limitations and that he is a role player and a good bench player but not a superstar yet so we need to sign him to a good long term deal for the future without the old big three and with the new big three rondo perkins davis . maybe bill walker ill help out next yr replacing tony allen

maybe we should stick with the 3rd seed you dont really wanna play the pistons the 1st rpund but who knows the pistons could go 8 but personally i would like the sixers to be our first round opponent especially with young out 2-3weeks . . what do you guys think ? i mean the celts have beaten the sixers this year 3times especially with garnett and powe out maybe it is better to get the sixers. would b nice to see pistons vs orlando 1st round coz pistins sweeped the magic this season

this is a topic that i havent actually seen on celtics blog and im quite shocked . that was a really great play on big babys behalf and yet i did not catch it on sports center or nba.com does anybody have the video pls post it on because as a power forward myself playing for boston college i really think that was a spectacular block by big baby pls post the video if u guys have one
