I am a large man

6"4 300 does not fit well into the turner field seats.

I don't go to games as much as I would like to because the seats are unbearably small. And the handicapped seats are larger, but it kinda feels wierd sitting there. I would guess that the suntrust club seats are larger, but all I can find are $1000 seats on ebay. I wouldn't pay that kind of money to see a baseball came on principle alone.

Do you guys have any suggestions on seating options for large people?

David Ross is really underappreciated

http://statlinereport.com/2009/05/08/572009-david-ross/

.289/.411/.574

In the interest of giving credit where credit is due, Braves nation owes a major applause for the work David Ross has put in thus far.

When it comes to offense the 2009 Braves are clearly lacking. Their best hitter Chipper Jones is out of the lineup a lot, and Brian McCann has been plagued with an eye problem all year.

Casey Kotchman has been hitting clean up. Yeah, let that soak in your brain for a second.

The play of Ross has some even talking about the possibility of Heap (McCann) playing left field or first base while he adjusts to the new glasses and gets ready to hit major league pitching again.

Although this young season has been quite rocky in Atlanta, the play of guys like Ross, Infante, and Jurrjens could make even the most pessimistic of fans smile. Throw in a Jeff Francoeur who is doing much better and the Braves might be able to do more than contend for third in the NL East.

As far as Ross is concerned, this is a wonderful audition for him. There are many teams out there that could possibly contend and need catching help. If Ross keeps up the good performance he will have considerable trade deadline period value. I would not be surprised if a move were made involving Ross at that time.

Go vote for Brian McCann

Guys, Heap needs to be the starting all star catcher this year. He deserves it, and it us up to us, the fan base to make it happen. Not that his year has been that much better than Soto, because Soto has matched him step for step, but McCann has been to the last two as a reserve and its time he starts.

Vote at the park, vote on line, it dosent matter just vote early and vote often. here is the link to the online vote http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/all_star/y2008/ballot_reg.html

you can vote 30 freakin times, use them all!

As a kid i loved collecting baseball cards. As an adult, I still love it. My collection spans from braves, to non braves and has a ton of variety. Over the past year I have begun to collect cards of Brave minor leaguers. You can view it at...

http://s225.photobucket.com/albums/dd156/cgilmo78/

Do you collect? Lets see your collection. Want to start collecting? Maybe I can help point you in the right direction.

Also, anyone going to Rome tommorow night? I am going to be there with a few friends. I will post a couple of videos of the action and maybe a scan or two of an IP autographs.

This kid hasnt pitched in quite some time in rome. Did I miss something? Why is he not pitching?

With Locke's new found success I like the odds of either Hanson, Locke, Evarts, or Rodgers being a front line big league starter one day.

Also, How long do you guys think it will be before Hanson gets moved up to AA mississippi to face some stiffer competition? I doubt he has moce more to prove in A advanced, and i expect him to burn through AA in similar fasion.
