Finally took the plunge and cut the cable service and got an Apple TV.  We never watch TV except for streaming Netflix and watching PSU games, so CFB is the only major loss.  I am wondring if anyone has had any success in watching live or even day-old Penn State games using iTunes/Apple TV?  After doing some research online, I am kinda getting the idea that game days are going to be spent at the neighbors house, as it seems I'm SOL on this one without cable. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?  I'm perfectly willing to pay to see the games or get an online CFB subscription, but I imagine that does not exist.  Thanks for your help, all!  Oh, and here's a poll for you:

It's something that comes to my mind only when I see a player laying on the field unconscious.  How much of a toll does football take on a player in the long run?  We can say in the NFL that a player certainly knows what he is getting into and accepts those risks as part of the giant paycheck they receive.  However, where I start to see a problem is when young players are facing these same issues.  Do we willingly let our student players sacrifice their physical and mental futures because it is the most popular and lucrative game?  Do you see any way to make football safer without sacrificing the popularity (and $$$) of the game itself?  Fascinating stuff, and something that is going to be explored lots in the years to come as people read these articles and studies and realize the effects this could have on their sons in HS and College...

A bunch of buddies and I will be travelling to the Temple game on 9/20.  What is your advice for scoring the best priced tickets for this game?  I have always had tickets prior to a game, so this will be the first time I get them while I'm there.  When, where and how is the best way to go about this?  We are OK not sitting all together, although it would be nice.
