I'm excited for several reasons. #1... I finally have a place I can talk about the Bills on a regular basis. Other websites would not let me speak my mind and have more than 3 people see my blogs. This will be the first of many blogs to this website. #2... The draft starts in less than two hours and I have alot to say. #3... I hope this website will help prove my Bills knowledge to more than my wife, kids and parents...

Let's talk about the draft. Why does everyone think that we have to go wide receiver in the first round? A defensive back is a HUGE value at the 11th pick. Leodis McKelvin of Troy and Antoine Cason of Arizona would be huge grabs at this pick... I love Jabari Greer. He came out of nowhere to fill a large void after Jason Webster went down. Jabari or the 1st round pick would make a great nickel back and three solid and improving DB's that all NFL teams need. Especially playing the New England Patriots twice a year.

I do obviously think that it is vital to get a receiver early in this draft. Here is my "darkhorse" choice. We're looking for a tall, red zone type receiver? Look no further than James Hardy of Indiana. The boy is only 6' 6"... and still ran the 40 in under 4.5. He would outleap any DB on opposing teams in a way that Randy Moss does. Remember what Moss did to the Bills last year? I would love to have Hardy lining up against some 5' 10" defensive backs next year.

The Bills are also looking at TE as well. Another position vital to assist Edward's in his second year. Other than looking for Lynch to dump some more passes to, the Bills need a catching threat that has some decent (not extraordinary) blocking skills. More sleepers are Brad Cottam of Tennessee and Martin Rucker of Missouri. Both should be available in Round 3 if Dustin Keller, John Carlson, or Martellus Bennett are not available at that time.

I could continue on all day, but will just go with the first three rounds to start. This will DEFINITELY be the first of many blogs in the future. Please tear my thoughts apart if you feel necessary. I love to hear what everyone thinks of my thoughts. Talk to you soon! Go Bills!
