Verizon 3G or 4G Reception at Wrigley?
I'm a season ticket holder going on his fourteenth season. I picked up an iPhone just before the 2009 season and reception is nothing short of horrible at Wrigley Field. (Not too great at Comiskey, either). The iPhone through AT&T has been practically useless.
Since iPad 3 has come out, I am toying with the idea of picking up the pad with the Verizon 4G option, almost expressly for the purpose of using it at the ballparks. I don't want to do that, however, if the reception is just as bad with Verizon and/or 4G as it is with AT&T, since it's $130 or so more for 4G capability upfront, in addition to $20/month for 1GB of data.
Does anyone in the community have experience with either Verizon or 4G here?
Ironic Factoid About Dusty Baker
We all know how much Dusty eschews the walk as a manager. Well, I found a game in which Dusty himself went 0-for-0 with 5 walks in a game, in 1980:

There really isn't any greater or hidden meaning in this -- I just find it amusingly ironic. Enjoy!
Bonds, Steroids, Home Runs and Major League Baseball
For the last few years, I have felt like a lone wolf among my friends, the only Bonds rooter among those who insist that Barry Bonds emblematizes everything wrong with The Game.
Derrek Lee: So-So Hitter?
Derrek Lee had a great year in 2005 -- MVP-level actually. And everyone naturally thought he would following up with a similar year this year. And before he got hurt, he was off to a great start.
Or was he?

Cubs pitcher Zambrano arrested on drunken driving charge
April 1, 2006
CBS SportsLine.com wire reports
Cincinnati -- Chicago Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano was arrested and charged with drunken driving, but his team said he still would begin the season with the club.
The 24-year-old right-hander was released on $500 bond, the Hamilton County Jail said. He is to return to Cincinnati for a court date that has not yet been set.
"I made a mistake, and I'm going to pay for it," Zambrano told the Cincinnati Enquirer. "I'm really sorry for what happened."
Zambrano was going 56 mph in a 35 mph zone and drifting between lanes early Saturday, Cincinnati police spokesman Angelo Bitsis said. An officer smelled alcohol and gave Zambrano a field sobriety test, Bitsis said. Zambrano registered a .133 blood-alcohol level, he added. Ohio's unlawful blood-alcohol level for drivers is .08.
"He's a young man who made a mistake," Cubs general manager Jim Hendry said. "He's embarrassed and I'm embarrassed."
Zambrano is still expected to make his scheduled start against the Cincinnati Reds in an exhibition game on Saturday.

God Bless DirecTV
45 Tiger games on MLB Extra Innings in April and May. Bee-yoo-tee-full. Best one hundred and thirty bucks I could spend during the year.
Of course, living outside of Michigan doesn't hurt, either. While I kinda miss living in Detroit, I don't miss many Tiger games on TV, either. Highly acceptable trade-off.

Need To Trade Cubs Tickets
I have a number of games I can trade for the June Tigers game on Friday.
