This Is Not the Dolphins Team I grew Up Loving
I understand the NFL is a business and that business decisions are not always easy. But there is a serious problem when two of the best defensive players in franchise history are being seriously disrespected by this FO. Yes this FO is very respected throughout the league and I understand they know what they are doing. I am happy they are running this team. If you don't understand yet what I'm talking about maybe this quote from Zach Thomas , my favorite dolphin defender of all time, will help you get a better feel for this situation.
"The only thing that was like a punch in the gut to me was the day I was cleaning out my locker the day they cut me, [agent] Drew [Rosenhaus] asked them if I could just say thanks to the fans through the media at the Dolphins facility and their answer was, 'No, he's not a Dolphins player anymore, he's got to do it off premises.' That's when you know, like, 'Wow,' the whole loyalty and everything they preach with team and things like that goes out the window."
Now Zach is a standup guy, family guy, and community guy. Openly loves the team and when he is treated like this after being CUT from this team I have a big problem. IMO this is EFFED UP. And I for one am fed up. If Zach Thomas doesn't get his one day deal to retire as a dolphin it will prove even more that loyalty to a career long JET (Chad Pennington) is more important that loyalty to the players that an entire generation grew up watching and loving. There is a serious problem with this.

Question
Does anyone know a website that sells good premier jerseys for the phins. Preferably henne or vontae davis because I cant find them anywhere. Also I can't find any type of jersey for davis but I found one for pat white, which IMO is pretty sad. If anyone can help me out that'd be great. BTW all the pre-draft posts and rumors/insider info has been awesome. Keeps me busy at work. Thanks guys
Does anyone else just want to cry???
I'm having an extremely difficult time getting over the loss on Sunday. There can be blame placed all over the field because it truly took the entire team and coaching staff to lose this one. Sparano calling the timeout before the half, Shockey carrying Gibirl Wilson for 20 yards (supposed to be a hard hitter), ted ginn dropping passes, ricky williams dropping passes, camarillo throwing the ball out of bounds, polite dropping the pass, ricky dropping the pass, jake grove's penalties, the miscue from henne to god knows what receiver he was throwing to when tracy porter took it to the house. I can't believe that the trade deadline went by and we did nothing, we have gaping holes all over this team. Secondary, namely the safeties, wide receivers, defensive line, I can go on and on. This must hurt the most because we were given such false hope last year, because lets face it, we had the easiest schedule in the NFL and Tom Brady wasnt on the patriots. We all know he would have likely went 15-1 with that schedule, because the Wildcat breakout was nothing he could have done anything about. It's saddens me that we decided to put the ball in a second year quarterback's hands up 24-10 trying to deliver a final blow that wasnt gonna happen. Give the ball to #23 and let him blow your mind because thats what he does. What happened to playing keep away and holding the ball for 8 or 9 minutes a drive. Since when do we throw and throw and throw and then let our defense try and stop them, thats not us because our defense is mediocre at best defending the pass and we were facing the best passing threat in football.......I dont think I can go on anymore because I'm that upset, and I know you all must feel pretty much the same way.
