Which can be both good, and bad.

This point is not new, and I have read discussion of it many times, but today I viewed a recent reminder of that, that brought out the impact this can have.

During lunch today MSNBC was on the public television when i read the headline "Brawl breaks out at UFC fight!" followed by the footage from the now more than well talked about Strikeforce event.  In most cases, UFC being the name associated with all professional MMA is nothing but a good thing, and for those followers of 'all publicity is good publicity' I guess that is still true.  I can however also see this being bad in terms of the general public...as for the unknowing masses now a brawl of those sorts has happened in a UFC event.

Poor reporting, certainly.  The incident itself is well discussed elsewhere, but I felt this was evidence of how much UFC is MMA.
