Taken from ESPN's big 10 blog. So is it Hope didn't know about the injury or forgot?

"There seems to be some confusion about why top CB Ricardo Allen wasn't on the field for Notre Dame's game-winning drive Saturday. Hope called it a coaches' decision, while Allen pointed to an ankle injury. Allen tweeted Monday: "No everyone I'm just walking around in a boot because of "coaches decision." The junior also tweeted that his ankle is improving and that he'll be ready this week against Eastern Michigan."

I have been thinking, we talk a lot about propects around here. We prognosticate and predict how good these guys are going to be. Then we critique the guys we have. Since we are in that middle point where the freshman just joined our beloved basketball team. I was wondering what you guys think and rank our top 5 basketball players on the team. Only rule is that it should be based purely on their basketball ability right NOW, best all around players defense, rebounding, passing whatever. Positions don't matter. Some of you guys have seen more of the freshman than others so i'm interested to see where you guys would say they are right now. Happy Friday all! my list as follows

1. DJ Bird

2. Terone Johnson

3. Little AJ

4. Hale

5. Tacos

My list is a little biased as i haven't seen any of the freshman, so due to that i'm picking sophomores and up, although r. davis may be in the 5th spot.

Because there is nothing going on right now and we are all really bored and need to talk about something...On our current Bball roster... who do you think will make the biggest jump from last year to this year? My personal pick is A. Johnson. He's a more well rounded scorer than TJ (still love TJ, played big down the stretch). I think he'll be more physically ready to play not to mention he's in his 3rd year with the program now. I fully expect him to contribute more all over the court, especially on the offensive end. What do you guys think? remember this is most improved/ biggest impact from last year to this.
