Sorry I haven't been around to get under your skin lately. I'm as sad about this as I'm sure many of you are happy. On October 1st I opened a bar and grill, Sidelines, in Osborne KS. (go ahead and laugh...yes Osborne Kansas sucks ass....but what do you do? I have a bar and you probably do not...so there.)
Business is about like the Chiefs...better than expected with a few Broncos games, er slow nights mixed in. Overall It has surpassed even my expectations less than two months in. The feed back have been overwhelming positive. The food is by far the best in town, with the half pound 100% Angus burger leading the way. We also offer Mountain Oysters, Lamb fries, Brats, Catfish, Shrimp, and a good amount of appetiser's and sides. We have a pool table, digital jukebox, foosball table, and touch screen video game. We also have 5 flat screen TV's with with to enjoy the game. When I win the SB Nation 3D television drawing I will have 6. wink wink.
Fortunately in Osborne you aren't allowed to serve alchol on Sundays, so I'm able to enjoy every Chiefs game. It's been fun watching the Chiefs this season. More fun than I anticipated to be sure.
It was an ass load of work and money just getting the place ready, starting in July and working right up to the open date. Now that were open, I have zero life outside of the bar, which I expected. It's a ton of work...but at least I'm building something and am no longer working for The Man. God I hate that guy. Anyway I'd like to tell you more but I'm really busy...here are some pictures of the place. Oh and by the way anyone that mentions Arrowhead Pride or Royals Review will receive a free cheeseburger and beer. Anyone that mentions SB Nation KC will be charged double.

Strasburg on schedule to pitch June 23rd against Royals
And wouldn't you know it? June 23rd is the only game in the month of June NOT being televised on FSKC. I'm not sure how all that works...but is there any way they would decide to show the Strasburg game since...ya know...more people would watch that game than any other for the rest of the year.

Didn't Waters show up this year? Michael David Smith must have been taken under Florios wing. Anyway...nice to see Waters buying in...perhaps Haley actually is on to something.
Natinals target 6/8 for Strasburg
If he does get called up then and pitches every fifth day we will get to face him on June 23rd...of course a lot can happen between now and then, but I hope to see him in action against the Royals.

Haha...we are having a discussion about NT's over at .arrowheadpride.com and we have a small dispute about Wilforks weight. While every major football site (nfl.com, the pats official site, profootballfocus...etc) have his listed as 325 pounds...some say his playing weight is closed to 340...I was wondering if any of you Pat fans could help settle the dispute. Thank You.

Mitch Holthus: Lets go down to Bob Gretz on the sideline....Bob.
Bob Gretz: Yeah the Chiefs are down here looking around...they don’t know when the hecks going on....its just mass confusion down here....back to you Mitch!
Don’t get me wrong I really like ole Gretz but, and maybe its just me, he was a little to pessimistic on the sideline.
