OT: Software question

I consider myself fairly knowledgable about computers, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to save user settings in-session.

You know how when you log off of Windows XP, it displays "Saving your settings..." and saves your profile (icon arrangements, desktop status, etc)? Is it possible to save those "settings" without logging off?

It's not a restore point. The Internet has failed me thus far. Any help appreciated.

I live near the Galleria, so it's a bit more convenient to go see the Roughriders than it is to see the big club. Do any of you go regularly?

What's attendance like? Ticket prices? Hell, is it even worth it?

I've never been to a minor league game, but I imagine for one who loves the game, it's just as good of an experience as the show.

What a great game early in the EPL season. I can't believe Gerrard is starting with a fractured toe.. it's too early in the season for that nonsense.

I know there are a few proper football fans on this site, I guess this can be an open thread for that.

Oh, and my Man City club is on top of the league today with the 1-0 win against ManU. I think I'm more happy about that win than I am the standings.

I know the Rangers are trying to get a foothold in the Latin market, but what about Japan? Do we have scouts and/or complexes overseas? Besides Fukudome (who will be a free agent, but is having surgery within the next week), who will be available after this season? .
