Big story! Greg Aiello addresses owners...
In an NFL competition committee meeting today the league announced a return to competitive football Greg Aiello: "I think it is in the NFL's best interest to bring the league back down to 28 teams, we are shutting down Tampa Bay, Detroit, St. Louis and Kansas City. They will now be college teams." The NCAA has not yet accepted terms of the deal yet, citing it's own "need to stay competitive on an off the field." j/k a long one by me a disturbed Bucs fan.
This is all about Leftwich...
So I was thinking that Lefty had a pretty solid game- No turnovers, No sacks, a touchdown. I felt pretty much OK about his performance. He did this without leaving the pocket too much (because he can't, he's a statue!). But a friend spoke to me about what he saw...
new iPhone app review NFL 2010.
So I am going to keep this short....
NFL 2010 is probably the best portable football game for a hand-held device ever made. 4.99 on iTunes is a steal! If you have a smart-phone, I believe it is out for other devices too. Gameloft puts it out there on iTunes for the iPhone. The controls are fun (Touchscreen directional pad and buttons- all Sega genesis style 2-3 button moves)!!! The Offensive and Defensive formations are accurate with great play selection...
My only major problems are this:
#1 As a Buccaneers fan this is honorable but buggin'! The roster keeps Warrick Dunn as #28 and the starting RB?
#2 Ditto as Josh Freeman is the Starting QB!
#3 Ike Hilliard is still catching those 3rd down clutch passes?
#4 (non-Buc related) The game lacks a Two minute warning clock stoppage!
#5 (non-Buc related) opposing teams stop the clock towards the end of halves with timeouts, whether necessary or not!
If you can get through this it's a great game... comment if you own it-
I will not miss a Bucs game this year, but during prime time football games (non-Buc Games) it's fun to simulate your own game in the palm of your hand!
Do you think the Bucs will pick up another FA? Trades?
I'm curious to see if anyone here thinks that the Buccaneers will snag another Free Agent or perform an actual Trade? Some of the names out there are intriguing to say the least, with veterans like the beloved Derrick Brooks, and Divas like Marvin Harrison- both future Hall of Famers for sure. There are many others, young and old. So if the Bucs don't pick up another, who do you think that they should go out and get? And who should they trade for if they could? Perhaps a Backup Quarterback for a ________?
Looking for people interested in Old School Buc Ball Styled Fantasy Football!!!
I have a Custom yahoo fantasy football league that has IDPs (Individual Defensive Players), and good stats for big defensive plays, as well as better scoring for quarterback effieciency, as well as negative scoring for turnovers, etc. Basically if a "fundementally sound" coach had a fantasy league type of thing. I will let anyone join.... need boo-coo players!
simple auto draft league, so you can pre rank players, I only have 4 committed need like 16!
the league is called Bad_Football_Year (yahoo ID# 418363)

Message to the Orlando Magic:
Stop having First Quarter Collapses!
For one it is bad for this fan page (TQC). Two- if you didn't, we may not be talking about how competitive Cleveland is right now, or buzzer beaters. And three, we are having a hard time dealing with the heart stress. I mean I thought that diet and exercise were enough. These end of the game thrillers can't be good for my blood pressure (or Twitter followers).
I Twittered this Game 2: Is it possible that the pre-game meal choices have anything to do with the sluggish starts? I mean, I played sports in HS and never could have a pre-game meal of Double Quarter Pounders with Cheese, Fries and a Coke, or a Olives and Yogurt covered Pizza (couldn't do that last one ever!). Just a thought- although I could be wrong, after all Homer Simpson can outrun Dobermans when he eats Sausages!
Any ideas?
If you are attending our Amway Orena this week (Sunday/Tuesday):
I know that this is a crazy time of the year. A lot of analysts have not predicted that we'd make it this far. We really have come along way thanks to a real Defense and some studs, that we've known about all year...
So here is the service anounce of the week to all who don the Blue and White! Please be loud!!! Don't be timid. It's time for Orlando fans to be a true Sixth Man! by review lets enter the correct answer below
I hope the Magic can beat the refs...
I'm a Magic fan and I think the Magic can beat the Cavs easier than most, I just think that the refs will be tough because Lebron is crowned the new MJ of the NBA, and I'm sure David Stern wants to protect all of that fat Lebron James money coming in...
I think that the ref situation in this series will suck, especially with the quick whistles... With all that is going on with fouls in these playoffs, I think we're in for a new level of boneheaded calls in this series...
Thoughts?
